      Antisocial personality disorders like Todd's are quite common, doesn't even necessarily mean you're evil like the characters connected to Todd that come in soon (pretty sure they done on Patreon by now so the Neo-Nazi's aren't a spoiler) His brain just can't compute empathy in the normal way, but it comes through in other ways like his loyalty to Walt.

      It's also BS since a "kill switch" wouldn't work in a dump truck that can still be turned over. The fuel pumps are mechanical, not electrical. Since there is no spark required for diesel engines to operate, there is nothing electrical to kill to stop it from firing up as long as it turns over. They would've been better off making a huge air leak so the brakes could not be released.

They also had watched short promo videos of all the shows they were considering. Better Call Saul did not do really well in their polls. Still, I had suggested that if they thought they would watch it eventually, it would be better to watch it first, while all the storylines and characters were fresh in their minds.

    Scary thing nobody mentions is Walt prefers Todd because he's a killer who looks up to Walt. While Gale although a good chemist could never handle the dirty side of the business and was equal to Walt. Jessie was a good chemist who had too much of a conscience with killing people and demanded Walt's respect. Todd was a killer who could cook and never thought he was equal something Walt loved having complete control over his 'partner'

    Both Walter’s and Jesse’s transform into their true characters. Walt becomes a monster. Jesse’s empathy is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I have that same soft spot for Jesse in my heart to this day. Be sure and catch the BB movie called El Camino. It follows Jesse’s journey. And then there’s Better Call Saul, of course. I appreciate you guys and here's why: I enjoy watching movie reactions .. some to rewatch a favorite series but much faster .. and also to see people's expressions / reactions to my favorite shows. I have watched a couple others do Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul (you should do BCS next!) and not sure if they have seen it before or just much more intuition than I do .. but they are able to predict so much and they absorb all the critical details the first time. But you guys are like my wife and me - it takes a lot to keep up with even the details / names of a show like this - let alone big up the subtle clues to help predict certain events. It takes at least a second full watching for us .. and even then I still miss things. So when I see you trying to remember names or trying to figure out plans up front - we can totally relate! Enjoy!!

    the train heist might've seemed dangerous because of the quick cuts and danger music but otherwise it was about the most mundane thing they've ever done on the show. the initial barrel burglary was more risky, this is just a stationary train. they don't have guards or guns, no cameras even, they're in the desert. while they definitely skipped plenty of prep work, and imo it would've been more believable if they'd found a road crossing that was situated after a bend in the track so they'd known the train had to go slow and was able to stop, but otherwise pretty straight forward deal. much more realistic than the truck magnet anyway as far as technicalities go.

    • @snooks5607
      @snooks5607 ปีที่แล้ว

      perhaps number one thing challenging my suspension of disbelief about the heist was how could they've have known the train car spot that much earlier to prepare for it? typically freight companies try to run as many train cars as they can at a time for cost optimisation, longest modern train in US was 3.5mi with 296 cars in 2010 but typical number is like 100 cars, and they transport all kinds of crap it's not going to be all methylamine. and it doesn't seem like a chemical they'd need to produce a million gallons of at once, probably just one or two tank cars at a time so it'd be pretty convenient to know that it's going to be exactly at the position of the bridge if they stop the train at the road crossing.

    Really loved this reaction, was looking forward to it! I was with you Asia “I’m so tempted to look, haha. I want to keep going y’all.” BJ going “But how… but how does everybo… how does everybody win? Bro! Bro. Man, I gotta eat a piece of popcorn.”
    The both of y’all reacting to Jesse having dinner had me rolling. BJ’s reaction to Skyler’s response to Jesse “What else did he tell you about me? Did you also tell him about my affair?” Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
    Asia: “Look at Jesse, haha. Let me just drink my water.” 😂😂😂 I never laughed so hard.
    Can’t wait for the rest. Love y’all!

    Walter wants to be a "Gus". He has ambition, He has plans, but he doesn't have the intelligence for the repercussions. Without his partners, his children, his wife. He would already be done. Jessie should run as fast as he can away from greedy Walt. Forget the 5 million. It's not going to end well. It didn't for Gus and it won't for Walter White.

    42:16 shorting the circuit with that spliced wire like that would trip the circuit breaker in half of a second. The chance that he would be so lucky that the breaker is an old worn-out thermal breaker is somewhat plausible, but very slim.

    It took me a few times watching the series from start to end to understand that Walt is the real issue. He got caught up in the money and power, more power than the money. Ironically, the meth head Jesse is the reasonable one. A smart guy would get out, cash out, and move to another country or state at least. It reminds me of the most successful bank robber in history, he hid a dirt bike in the woods behind the banks and robbed a lot of banks without getting caught until he got too greedy. He could have skated on it all but greed got him.

  • @theoneandonlyoni
    @theoneandonlyoni ปีที่แล้ว

    Someone makes a great point on another reaction,
    Walt is pumping water into the methlamine as he’s pumping it out,
    So he’s actually diluted his own supply as he’s pumping it out.
    To do it right he would have had to pump out everything he wanted, then added water to get the weight back, that way none of walt’s supply gets watered down...

    • @jmominis
      @jmominis ปีที่แล้ว

      I saw that one too. But not sure how bad it would actually be. The density of the liquid methylamine is supposedly .7 where water is .998. Compare with cooking oil at .91 where water sinks pretty fast. In a perfectly settled tanker the water would already sink slower than in cooking oil. But the methylamine would still be sloshing front to back from momentum so the water would be getting pulled horizontally as soon as it hit the methylamine. The amount of highly diluted methylamine might be pretty low if any.
      Even if they did get some diluted, I don’t think it would be an impurity, just a lesser amount of methyl. They have to reduce the meth from the carrier fluid so the water would be evaporated off when they did that. Just my guess, I’m not not a chemical engineer😊

    Y'all are watching Game of Thrones right? George RR Martin, the writer of the books the show is based off of, said that Walter White is a worse character than any he's ever written in his stories.
    That says a lot about Walter.

    Vince Gilligan needs to make a heist movie if he never has before.
    So many episodes of this show and ESPECIALLY Saul are beautiful mini heist flicks in and of themselves.
    Or an action movie, I think that's gonna be the next hot genre. I think audiences are getting bored of CGI spectacle and want something more real and gripping.
    He could make a killer Die Hard-like movie. One lone hero trying to outwit and overcome a small army of better armed enemies. That'd be right up his alley.
