A good set of waterproofs can make rain less of an issue but it tends to get in eventually, and once its in the misery starts. I don't tend to go for fun rides in bad weather. Hopefully you get a stretch of good weather for some ride outs locally.
@@SloboloboVFR Gear I've got mate, only not heated & have had years of riding experience in rain ice snow fog ect when motorcycles were my only form of transport,Which is why I know rain is all part of it, Im not expecting perfect weather but this is more like 80%-20% crap & the 20% doesn't mean sunny either, Sucks mate & there's no point banging my head against it, Getting caught in the rain is one thing, but setting off for 2 weeks on a 3k journey basically knowing its gonna piss hard the entire time is entirely different, I can go sit on the beach in the rain also & eat ice cream, but it ain't so much fun lol ..local trips it will have to be Cheers
@SloboloboVFR It's a gamble of course & if I had cash falling out my ass I'd throw caution to the wind, but I'm pretty stretched after all the upgrades & want the odds a bit more in my favour of having a fun time of it. It's not going anywhere after all.

@@SwenglishSteve650 I don't blame you tbh. getting wet on day 1 probably means being soggy the entire time.
