Did this solely, undoubtedly, and painfully for the flex. I really don't like this boss tbh, the camera is buggy and Ashina Seigen's blood arrows are complete BS, as well as him still trying to constantly attack you when you're trying to lightning reversal 😠.
The more I see of this mod the more it feels counter intuitive to Sekiro's existing system. The mod wants to be a balls to the wall hack and slash game a la DMC instead of Sekiro's existing pattern/rhythm recognition for fights. Not to mention how obnoxiously placed certain new bosses are, the number of gank fests, and how the constant particle effects slapped onto enemies to differentiate them as bosses leads to greater difficulty tracking their attacks. It all culminates to make me feel like the mod creators didn't understand that "harder" is not the same thing as "better" and that poor game design is the greatest creator of artificial difficulty out there. Kudos to you for making your way through all of that.
I agree, this mod kinda forced you to play differently from how you would normally play in Sekiro and almost feels as if the creator of the mod try to incorporate dark souls elements into fights that really isn’t meant for it.

Thank you, on my “path to the stars” video I do have a save file right before this boss fight it just sucks that you have to fight these bosses back to back, otherwise it wouldn’t have been as bad
When you used mist raven to dodge out of the genichiro reskin's restless combos I felt that... One reason I'll never play this mod, besides being on console, is how bs everything looks. No tells, no windows, just play the modder's game dealing no damage and enduring through the hardcore hell that is lmtsr... Respect for you, friend. It's not easy to come this far, especially with the debuffs active 🛐🛐🗿☠️
Thank you. Some of the boss fights are actually are a bit more fair than what most people think, but yes overall a lot of his boss designs are pretty bad. The debuffs, the complete randomness of their attacks, how they constantly interrupt you when you try to counter attack, the constant nerf of combat arts, just to name a few of the bad that came from this mod. Biggest thing that’s going for this mod is the amount of content, but a lot of it is questionable. Prime example of more doesn’t always mean it’s better.
I actually do have a video a while back using it against regular genichiro. I mean it’s not bad using it to do a quick lightning reversal and to deflect an enemies attack. th-cam.com/video/FduZQFaMy2o/w-d-xo.html But overall it’s kinda lack luster, bc you don’t get any hyper armor while using it so enemies can still interrupt you while you’re using it or even after you use it to deflect an enemies attack.
I mean use ako/yash sugar/spiritfall and play it how you would normally against regular genichiro with the new added moves of course. There’s really no way to deal like high damage, you could always use combat arts like Ashina cross or Shadowfall after you lightning reversal him. Shadowfall is probably the better option cause I believe it still stuns him regularly too, so you can use it safely and get quite good damage from it without wasting too much emblems
@@LordYikers Sounds like a good idea with shadowfall but I sadly can’t switch to ako in this fight since my hotbar is already full and I’m prohibited from using my inventory because I wanna keep it as cinematic as possible
@@Brover-tg2jw you can always edit the part out where you switch out items, you have time to do it after demon of hatred and before the “cutscene”/dialogue comes in. It’s what I did with the other video from the same fight. After the fight against the DoH, I actually did switch out the items but I just replace it with a fade to black and added a genichiro cut scene to it. It’s this vid right here: th-cam.com/video/6SyXF7TKRc8/w-d-xo.html This should help to not disrupt the flow of the fight and the video your creating and it still comes out cinematic if not more if you add maybe a cutscene or something else to it.

so i did defeat oboro as planned now im kinda stuck at this fight since im not 100% certain yet on how to deal decent dmg/posture to ashina seigen
