Love the round table btw.... I'm dead nuts in the middle with everyone! Sport bikes are def harder. Yes it comes up anywhere in rev range in most of the transmission. But power delivery vs a kinda narrow balance point makes it hard to control. And then Harley once you get around the clutch up the bp is a little wider power delivery isn't as harsh. And fb isn't as necessary as a tool?!?! Yes you need it but you don't have to be as on point with it the engine goes pretty far.
As I'm going through I think tricks for sport bikes actually peaked.... I think Bill Dixon went like 1100' feet for a stoppie! That was a while ago an How do we top that! Ppl are doing "watch tower" circles.... Ppl are literally standing on the bars and doing circles. Ppl have peaked so high we can't really top it anymore. And yes there are so many of us it is watered down. (I started watching street bikes in the early 2000's) The first video I ever bought was ftp3.... The first big ride I went to was ROC 2012. I watched it peak in the high level market like factory sponsors and then it fell off. Btw you guys forgot about stunt wars in Florida back in the day with guys like Kyle woods. ( Stunt wars was waaaay tf back there)..... I thought Arron Colton went towards sumo stuff???
The skill gap on sport bikes is so much bigger. All the big names on harleys are much closer in skill so its easier to put them in competition. If you see a name like Sliger registered, 99% of your sport bike guys are pulling out of that comp.
we need a world cup in stunting, multiple disciplines, representing a country, would be fun to see USA vs France vs Finland vs Poland etc. and also a guy in flipflops from Brasil comes and wins it all on a stock bike doing shit noone knows how 😆

Whats the bottom line? Why do people say you need to swap out the belt to a chain to wheelie a Harley?
Is this true?
