No hate to the show AT ALL but the constant love square of Marinette likes Adrien, but he doesn’t love her back, and the Cat Noir obsessing with ladybug and her not loving him back for 4 seasons, well, you have an idea about what’s gonna happen. I’m so glad they changed it! Also I’m so glad Adrien likes Marinette.
They literally swap love interest, kindda reminds me of or somewhat similar to reverse love square au. In this season, I am looking forward to *Marichat* I haven't fully watched it yet but Im sure I'll love it:D

But before all of this, she continuously pushed Cat Noir away, so Cat Noir has eventually developed the mindset that they’re better off as just partners and friends, and that it’s time for him to move on.
This season is so different from the other one its like sad and depressing and more focused on developing the love square and were only nine episodes in bro, where season 1,2,3, are so cute and fun
