Welcome to el salvador,here is a tip for you guys,make sure you have small bills no larger than$ 20.00,most street vendors don't carry much larg money,and I will subscribe for you all

Most of those buses were school bus that were bought in the US and sent all over Latin America, that's the reason the seats are smaller. School buses are much cheaper than a regular buses, anyway enjoy El Salvador, I hope one day to visit El and Guatemala. Be safe and stay safe
Doesn’t help that Max is 6ft either 😝 Generally the buses are good but if you stay tuned for our next video you’ll see I start to get over them 😅 we’ve caught a lot of them so far!

The bus public transportation that you take from Guatemala is very similar to public transportation in the Philippines even though in the Philippines it is smaller, shorter and sits opposite each other. Meanwhile, the transportation that is pedaled by feet is similar to that in Indonesia, in Indonesia this transportation is called Becak / Bentor. and the food you enjoy in the final video is similar to a traditional Indonesian food called Martabak Telur
I would have to say the public transport in the Philippines was a bit more comfortable than over here 😅 the buses here are super loud!
@@MaxandJacqueline In the Philippines, buses like that are just as noisy, but now it looks like the Philippines has been modernized. Is the bus made in Spain because almost every former Spanish colony has a bus like that.
These buses are old American school buses so I would assume they’re made in the US but I’m not sure

Thanks for the tips Alex! We've loved El Salvador, we didn't have much time here unfortunately as we had another commitment to reach in Nicaragua but what we did get to do was phenomenal! The only weather we experienced was HOT 🥵 haha. We will have to return to find those other climates you speak of 🙌
More expensive to exchange quetzales to US dollars (El Salvador) at the border. Plenty of banks in Antigua and the rest of country will exchange quetzales for dollars at near wholesale rates.
The info we got is that we would get a better rate on the Guatemala side to change Quetzales to USD than on the El Salvador side BUT we can’t confirm because we didn’t try both 😅

Visit the "Eramon Paradise 360" Hill in Chalatenango, climb and camp on top to see a beautiful sunrise 🌅 in 360 degrees from above, it's beautiful.
You can climb the hill or get there by helicopter.
Wow a helicopter ride would be amazing but probably out of our budget 😅 maybe next time!

Por que no hay una estación decente en ese punto de buses alguna parada con sombra y algún baño público. Llegar a El Salvador y no tener infraestructura es una vergüenza … hay le Queda al Alcalde de Santa Ana y al Ministerio de Turismo de El Salvador …..
