I may have retired from doing music videos of Maks & Val, but I truly cherish this video that I've done with them together back in 2010. 11 years later today, I'm just very grateful and happy that everyone still loves this video today.

Both of them when Dancing with the Stars started; I watched every season. First it was one of them then when his brother started. I love their choreographies. Another two is Derek and his sister too.
@@ivanvillamil2764 Hello Ivan. Maks started in season 2 with Tia Carrere and Val started in season 11 with Elizabetta Canalis (former girlfriend of George Clooney). Derek started in season 5 (fall) and sister Julianne in season 6.
Those were the good old days of DWTS when we enjoyed watching all the behind the scenes / in the booth afterwards when they were talking about their dances and having fun chatting.
Personally, I have really enjoyed watching Maks and Val and truly loved doing videos of them, together and with their dance partners. By the time they danced with Vanessa Lachey and Victoria Arlen, I was literally exhausted and decided to hang up my video making days: twice a year and double the amount of videos took its toll on me, physically and emotionally. Today I'm eternally grateful to have met Maks in person (Aug. 15, 2011) and have chatted with Val online a few times, and my video if them in "Sharp Dressed Men" was tweeted by both brothers in 2013). I have so much to be grateful for, and still proud of my work to this very day 😍. Thank you so much, Ivan, for dropping in and sharing your thoughts. Truly appreciate this. ♥️😁

Hard to believe that 5 years have passed by (as of Sept. 17, 2015), and I can't tell all of you how happy I am that this 1st video of Maks & Val remains very popular to this very day. Thank you, everyone!
It was 7 yrs ago today (Sept. 17, 2010) that I introduced Val in my videos. This was his first featured introduction alongside Maks, which to this day, remains my all-time favorite and I hope yours as well.
Not only are they great brothers but fantastic dancers.

I think, if I had to choose, I'd choose Val over Maks only because he's closer to my age! Val's 4 years older than me, and Maks is 10 1/2, so....

@vh9network 'Bad Romance' refers to Maks & Val with their partners: Maks with Karina & Val with Pro Partner Valeriya & then you have Val dancing & Lacey (wants a "bad romance"?) Watch their hands, feet, leg & dance movements on the "beat of the music". The music has to match the way they are dancing which "keeps in time with them". Effeminate or not, this video is a tribute to Maks & Val. They had their "bad romances" & the "music matches with the way they dance".

val was/had to be older in 1994 when they came to america , i don't believe he was 8 at that time
+Lillian Graham Maks was born Jan. 17, 1980 and Val was born March 24, 1986. They came to the States in May 1994, which makes Maks 14 yrs. old and Val 8 yrs. old. I know it's hard to believe, but they came over at an early age.
this might be too personal of a question however , i'm gonna ask "does val have any childhood memories " .you seem to know them quite well
+Lillian Graham I've been following Maks since Nov. 2007 when I first joined his Official Website & Forum (Discussion) that was filled with tons of info about him & the family. In 2009 he joined Twitter and so did Val. If you are also on Twitter (like many of us are), you would find an increasing amount of photos & fond memories of both Maks & Val as kids (they both have Instagram and post early pics of themselves). Hope this helps.

And why do you think that MJ's music is the only music that can fit with everything. He's good but MJ is defiantly over-hyped. And you probably wouldn't have thought that MJ's music would have fit this video more if he didn't die a year ago. And I'm being honest here because not many people loved him as much as they do now as they did towards the end of his career.
