I was excited when I heard Delta Force was coming back, then disappointed when I saw it was a Battlefield-calibre Rainbow Six clone.
At least they're remastering the original Black Hawk Down with the appropriate DF gameplay...

The worst part is that the gameplay itself is more responsive, creative and fluid than 2042… I don’t even hate this game. I’m just disappointed that it enjoyed it as much as I did

Battlefield 2042 with even worse vehicle gameplay, weirder skins, without destruction and with only a few maps (apparently there will only be 4 at launch). Yea at least its free
@@chrisuuu393 in all fairness, the the gold edition for 2042 was 90 euro at launch, and it wasnt even the most expensive. Ive played both 2042 and DF:HO, and i much prefer Delta force
it's actually crazy how the UI and visual style solemnly makes it look BF2042. I think it's just time seeing Shatterline, battlebit, Xdefiant, Once Human, and WW3 being these big scale games being free to play.
@@Plan3tMist I played Delta Force for couple of hours and its sadly not for me. I like to play in vehicles and they are terrible here. Much worse then even 2042 which is the worst Battlefield yet. Also optimization is bad. Game was runing poorly even on medium settings for me.

It's clear this is just trying to be a better battlefield 2042 which isn't a high bar but it only barely meets it.

Delta Force and Arena Breakout showing us how dumb the player base can get if the genre goes free to play. We had gear fear player egging in a corner for extraction shooter and we got players not playing their designated role in Conquest or Large team battles. I’ve played both and it’s brain rot. yes I’m the dude who had 24 average revive and the only one taking out the tank that’s farming the team.
I feel that i just broke my revive record of 35 last match lmao, but its pretty fun otherwise
@@LegionnaireShork i think i may have encounter the same 😂. the classes are great and satisfying. its unfortunate i can't switch classes on the fly just in case the team is lacking in that certain area. edit: the progression is great i hope it stays the same as the demo.
I get your point. nowadays gaming is about how many people can you get to play your game and spend money on cosmetic items which equals profit. Everything is dumbed down, there's less risk but mega rewards.
Tbf playing carefully makes sense in extraction shooters and in battlefield you rarely have people playing their class, you have medics charging into battle instead of staying behind a bit to heal and mg gunners/resupply guys not providing cover and suppressive fire or give ammo

16 inch barrel with buckshot, you need at least 10 yards for the most part, for a chest-sized pattern.

About the "Short" body armor, that's actually realistic because if it covered your stomach it would be uncomfortable and hard to move it. Even in medieval times their armor only went about that far, but they had articulated armor to protect the rest of their stomach as well.

About the body armor, if you see soldiers equipment more on the SOF they use plate carriers it wont protect the abdomen area, its good and bad, good for more mobilty, "bad" for less area covered.

Ironically the Opening Scene is a reference to Gothic Serpent and probably the orginal Delta Force games that took place during the operation. But seriously, did they just import models and change modes into 2042?

It actually looks pretty fun as long as they have a better launch that bf 2042 it might have a chance to be pretty good

If they approach monetization with: Cosmetics, cosmetics, and more cosmetics... I am okay with that and will really like this game. If they continue support for this 1 game instead of pumping out a new one every year or two and abandoning the old ones, then that's awesome as well. Make 1 good game to compete with BF, CoD etc, make it free, and make mtx purely cosmetic = Gold mine. The biggest thing is continue bringing out content for this 1 game. Maps, modes, seasonal fun to keep people coming back. Battlepass systems with cosmetics are expected and if done right, perfectly fine. Especially in a game like this. I really hope they approach mtx and continued support properly.

Only play ranked mode, or there will be bots. Also yeah, the helicopters are completely broken. The flight model can best be described as 'random', such as when the helicopter violently pitches down 90 degrees when you least expect it, or just starts sinking and won't gain any lift, etc. etc.

dang this looks just like Alpha Force: Black Hawks 2077. Its a mix between modern warfare 4, battlefield 8, and counterstrike 3. Only it runs on unreal engine 6 and is ran completely by AI. The entire campaign is actually just you talking to an AI that likes to keep saying black hawks.
