It can be expensive if you want to Pay2Win, but it isn't necessary in order to enjoy the game. I was going to say that you only really need some decent pets to be able to grind efficiently, but they recently included 3 pets as rewards in the questline, and you can get the rest via in game silver through the pearl item shop on the central marketplace, so that isn't really a problem anymore unless you're impatient. You could also purchase inventory and weight limit upgrades for your character via cash shop, but that's less necessary than it is convenient. I would say in order to play comfortably, something like $60 would probably be fine. If you want to purchase the Value Pack monthly (basically an optional monthly subscription for 15$), that would be up to you. You can also get Value Packs through in game silver, but you have to wait a while for your order to go through.
Whether or not the game is worth playing is very subjective. I would say yes because I enjoy playing the game. It is a pretty hardcore grinding game though, so if you hate grinding, and you want to be competitive in PvP, it may not be your cup of tea. Gear is a huge part in this game, and it costs a lot to get, and can take a long time. There are other ways to make money via life skills and whatnot, but the best money is almost always grinding. As long as you understand this is a long term game, and not a short one, you should be fine. As for sorceress, I personally love the class. The high skill cap is great and the potential to outplay your opponents is incredibly engaging and fun. The combat in this game is extremely fast paced, so you need to stay on your toes. Taking the time to learn everything about the class and all of its match ups is really rewarding, and definitely worth it.
@@xKageyoru I'm looking to play casually, and just want to maybe engage in a community not solely restricted to pvp perse. Lifeskills like farming and such? I actually enjoy such stress-relieving activities. I'm not really competitive so endgame pvp is not really for me.
@@faintsherin4468 If you just want to play casually and enjoy some chill lifeskills like gathering, farming, hunting, maybe sea monster hunting, etc., that is also fine. BDO can definitely be a relaxing game if you just want to chill when you get on. Just know that PvP is what everybody looks for in this game due to the amazing combat animations and skill effects and how fast paced it is, so even if you don't want to PvP, it will most likely come to you, whether you like it or not. There's definitely a lot of PvE guilds/communities that do everything and just chill and chat with each other. I would say give it a shot at least, and if you don't like it, then you can always just stop and play something else.
There could be a few diffferent reasons for that. I use a resplendent destruction alchemy stone, which gives me more % cast spd than the others. I also may have used the tbs cancel after hitting somebody with a skill that has a % cast spd add on, like shadow eruption, which gives an extra 10% cast spd. The other possibility is simply higher fps.
I might be wrong, but you don't seem to use a lot of Storming Crow (The super armor after Iframe). Am i wrong ? And if yes why ? I'm thinking about not investing point into it.
It's a great skill, definitely worth putting points into. It's just not good to spam it around a bunch of people because even though it is Super Armor, you can still take a lot of damage during it, so you have to be careful who you use it against and when.
@@hekyvalturis5279 I do not lock it. I know the timing pretty well, so as long as I don't get a stutter/fps drop, I can avoid using it if I don't want to.
@@xKageyoru Oh okay. I rerolled to Sorc a week ago (was a ninja before) and i have problem using it, since it's realy dangerous as you saied, both for damage and possiblity to get grab (by lahn for exemple)
@@hekyvalturis5279 Yeah, you need to be careful when you use SA skills around grab classes, especially lahn who can easily grab you out of storming crow or engulfing shadow. It's okay to use in fights against them, but you need to learn when you can and can't, though that also depends on who you're fighting.
These clips were from several months ago as mentioned in the description, which was before the cron food buff, so my buffs are a bit different now. As of right now, I currently use Exquisite Cron Meal, Body Enhancement Villa buff, Attack/Protection Church buff, Heidel Crit buff, Ancient Kamel Statue furniture buff, Alchemy Stone, Giant's Draught, and occasionally Perfume of Courage/Elixir of Deep Sea for Node War and Siege.

your c swap into turn back slash seems way faster then mine, even if i cancel the animation while transition. Any trick? Or just way high fps?
