To me it looks like speedy is covering for Clark's mistake. Why not take ilya straight to the water if he's been given many chances for disrespecting him. Langs right saying he did it once whim. Sure clark had a reason to shoot him but the fact he wasn't put in the water immediately after means the intent wasn't to blood him out.

Clarke ultimately made the decision which undermines the dons no matter how you look at it, and this really forced speedy’s hand to go with it as to not look like he was undermined. Lang was also right that this was disrespectfully handled. I think Clark should have spoken to the dons and let them deliberate on it. They make the decision then carry on with the blooding. I think Lang is focusing too much on the calling Clark a pussy part. Ilya was warned multiple times and had a history of instigating/not respecting the hierarchy. If Ilya did not have the previous incidents from before and got blooded out for calling Clark a pussy then Lang's point would make a lot more sense.

Nah. If you've actually been watching South people's streams then you'd know this wasn't on impulse. The simple fact that non of the south people even really questioned the decision shows you they knew this was bound to happen eventually.
