I had the privilege to hear this amazing song at Anfield and to be part of the atmosphere. Something I will never forget and I hope I will have the chance to experience it again. R.I.P Gerry Marsden. This song can always help you through the darkest times.
Well said
I'm a Liverpool fans since I started sporting the Game. I wish one day I be welcome by LFC to Anfield and Jurgen too.... unbelievable
Semi final against Chelsea 2007 was the best atmosphere I've ever experienced unexplainable just how good you feel being part of something truly special ❤ YNWA
Last season vs Everton was my first time. Hearing YNWA didn't disappoint at all, truly special
2005, may 25th. I was a kid who didn't know much about football but I decided to watch the game.
The fans were singing YNWA while the Miracle of Istanbul happened. I was moved. I cried. Felt something different. Felt happiness. Liverpool fan since then, from the bottom of my heart.
Bro same thing happened to me. I was a man u fan till then since i started watching football coz of them. I dumped them that night. Liverpool made me understand what football really is. Its about people. The connection that make miracle happens on those Anfield nights. Something money can never buy.
Same as me. Wasn’t into football until I came into the living room to watch the 2005 champions league final with my dad. The atmosphere, the game, the club inspired me to be the massive football fan that I am now. Supporting the greatest football club in the world of course YNWA ❤️
@@seunomisope1708I started in 1990...
Liverpool is my first love...
I am RED as my blood....
Many greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
I became in 2018 after salah was injured i joined the team because of the spirit the team showed especially Mane
More than a club and this manager just gets it. I wish he stays with us for the rest of his career ❤
Reckon Ulla Klopp will be the driving force again as to wether Jurgen renews hit contract again..., be kind to her!
As a Capetonian....YNWA song is the reason why I chose Liverpool as my team...and ive never looked back or felt that I'm walking alone...I'm 72 years old now 😊❤
The memory of Gerry Marsden will live on for as long as LFC and Football exists in this world. YNWA!
Jurgen!! So moving and poignant!! Had tears in my eyes, the song the people, the kop, touches and warms your heart. Thank-you for all you have done ❤ YNWA
Klopp is loved like a God in Liverpool. That’s why. What a human being, inspiring, uplifting, leading. A role model.
In South Korea, a young girl fell in love with a red soccer team on the other side of the world. I couldn't help falling in love at the moment I watched "The Miracle of Anfield." It was a shame I wasn't there. This beautiful song and the enthusiasm of the supporters was enough to attract me. Liverpool's soccer team instilled comfort, new dreams, and passion in me, whose passion was cooling down.
I will support Liverpool until the end.
The sentence may be strange because I am still studying English. I am studying English hard like Nuñez! LOL
@user-bu8nn5xq7t Your sentence is perfect so your learning is also perfect. My grandparents came to the US from Japan and I can neither speak nor write Japanese. What you express is beautiful and speaks to how I feel as well. "Until the end".
Haha that's because where a family boys...!!! I live in the UK and the beauty is you'll never walk alone...!!! ❤
Before I heard it at Anfield I remember that listening to it being sung always made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Beautiful and powerful testimony to our side and Liverpool as a city.
Such a beautiful video and message! Klopp always find the rights words! He epitomises everything that the Liverpool people want, that the football club want and the city. It's as if he was destined to become the manager of this club after having been manager of Mainz and Borussia Dortmund who all have in common the anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone"!
@@annalytic There are other clubs in Germany and famously in Netherlands you have FC Twente and Feyenoord Rotterdam. And other european clubs as well who adopted it, apart from the Celtic FC who adopted it after Liverpool FC.
@@annalytic it's very known and famous for Celtic Glasgow. Are you kidding me? Lol I think you are. I just wanted to say that I think they are the only British club with LFC but there are a lot in Europe, and the other two famous one are Borussia Dortmund and Feyenoord Rotterdam.
The best thing that has ever happened to liverpool is that Jurgen came in the scene...glad that jurgen is a ♥️
As great as Klopp is, the greatest things that happened to Liverpool FC are BILL SHANKLY and BOB PAISLEY. KLOPP is a legend but he's behind those guys.
Liverpool has been blessed to have only 21 managers over its long history. Klopp is arguably the 4th or 5th best Liverpool manager based on silverware. He gets some credit though for doing it against a Man City side that have steamrolled every other side in the eight years that Klopp has been with the Reds.
@@alexander-lc4dr Shanks couldn't have done more than Klopp these days.
There were no oil billionaire clubs in Skank's time. Klopp has a much harder time than the managers back then
@@Marvel66666 Totally agree with you there - the old League Division One was so different to the Premier League. A lot of the younger fans don't realise that because they weren't around to witness it. Even the way they played back then was different - I remember the 1974 Charity Shield match against Leeds when Kevin Keegan and Billy Bremner both got sent off for fighting! Happy days! 😂
Shankly, then Paisley, and now Klopp…the 3 best things that happened to LFC
As a Barcelona fan, I have to say that I love how much Klopp matches Liverpool. It is like Guardiola or Enrique with Barcelona
It’s such a privilege to be a Liverpool fan. We’re all football fans, all our teams have anthems and signature songs. But if you even listen to players and managers of other clubs, they always remember and highly regard Anfield for the atmosphere and electricity it evokes; mainly from this song. You’ll Never Walk Alone sparks hope and unity whether we’re winning the prem or scraping the barrel. We are Liverpool and You’ll Never Walk Alone ❤
I became a fan of Liverpool since FC Porto visit Anfield. I felt the song crossed my body and heart, one of the best football experiences in my life. Despite the loss we ended up applauding Liverpool fans because it was pure love and joy to watch how the crowd was in sync with the team (you can feel you are a visitor at Anfield). A cousin of mine asked to play YNWA in his marriage, so you get the sense of influential the song is our lives. Last and not the least, we FC Porto fans love Luis Díaz not only because of his unique skills but also the humbleness of his character. We hope he comes back to the pitch as fast as possible, knowing that his parents are safe and sound. On Liverpool’s side, I know he is in good hands. Best of luck.
Goosebumps ... That Jurgen ❤️ ..
OMG back in the days seemse so damn awesome.. wow look at the crowed singing and jumping around... gotta love this club YNWA-Sweden
Jurgen Klopp was made for Lfc, awesome manager ever 🔥🔥🔥
It's my privilege to support Liverpool Football Club. It's fated, it's destined for me.
Originally sung by Shirley Jones in Carousel in 1945. Made a hit by Gerry and the Pacemakers in 1963 and it goes on as the best anthem in sport. ❤YNWA.
I'm sorry to be emotional, but as an American Reds fan who has never been across the pond, Klopp really communicates the sentiments of Liverpool very eloquently! Go Reds!
Our anthem, one memory I’ll cherish forever is sitting in the Kop before a match. Hopefully, I’ll get to experience that again for either a men or women’s game. YNWA
A good Anthem for Great Club Liverpool FC👋👋⚽
Probably the best club anthem in football, certainly so for me. Thank you for sharing what it means to you, Boss! YNWA
This Club and its people mean everything to me. I love you all.
YNWA 🔴
How can you not love this man ❤ YNWA
Absolutely love this guy. Great manager great human being. Pure. Class
I LOVE our prayer. I always get emotional when I hear it it’s such a powerful. Happy 60th birthday, and to all my fellow LFC fans: You’ll Never Walk Alone.
I have never heard of Jurgen or ever followed
Liverpool FC when I left the UK 55 yrs. ago. But the SONG ...every word...has stayed in my mind now for over half a century. Searching for the song, I found this vid. And I liked and will subscribe as soon as I have finished posting this comment! ❤❤❤
It's the best song ever - for the best team ever! When I hear this song being sung, whether that be Gerry Marsden on the radio or The Kop at Anfield, it never fails to make the back of my neck tingle and my heart just bursts with love and pride for Liverpool FC. I know some people will say "oh it was from the musical Carousel before it was ever a football chant"! Well thanks to lifetime Red Gerry Marsden releasing it as a single, we adopted it as our anthem and I'll be having it played at my funeral, which hopefully won't be for a good few years yet! God bless ya Gerry! ❤YNWA
What a club, what a story, what a manager and what a City.
Our Liverpool. ♥️
This club is part of him 4 ever
And he is part of this club 4 ever
This is pure class. Emotional what a song. What a man manager FOOTBALL manager. Man that epitomizes Liverpool. ❤
I love hearing the Kop singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" at the end of the Pink Floyd song 'Fearless' from the Meddle album.
A song that moves me to tears nearly every week. I’ve never been to Anfield, but hearing this song connects me to it. To the Reds around the world, I love you. YNWA
When the lads have their tour to Jakarta, Indonesia, we have the opportunity to show other premier league club fans that indeed this is the best football club hymns ever!!! The Gelora Bung Karno Stadium is not The Anfield but YNWA brings and unites all the stadiums when the Kops sing it whole heartly !!!
YNWA❤
I am a 59 year old Trinidadian, the dad of the family next door was a Liverpool fan, his son became a Red and by the time I started secondary, I was as well. I watched Toshack, Keegan, Hughes etc on grainy black & white. In 1985, I started studying and living in Liverpool (same time Barnes started playing for us). Lived in Toxteth (of course), Woolton, Aigburth, even on Scotland Road briefly. Wonderful, down to earth people, whose trust and respect can be earned. I left the UK and repatriated in 2005 (after Istanbul) and I've had much to enjoy with the Reds. P.S. the early kick offs are at breakfast time here, I try to replicate a full English for those games.
You'll never walk alone !!! ♥♥♥
It’s an anthem that encapsulates everything about this wonderful club. From the fans’ perspective, the players’ perspective and even the managers’ perspective, it’s one of, if not the most iconic football anthem of all time. Gerry Marsden, god rest his soul, sang this song on the Kop, and there have been multiple versions of this song from Mumford & Sons, and Duncan Lawrence at Eurovision earlier this year.
My message to anyone who sees this, know that whatever goes on in your life, know that you will never walk alone. At the end of the storm, there’s always a golden sky. If you ever feel like the world is crashing down on you, and you feel a big storm hanging above your head, walk on. Always walk on. Because when you walk through that storm with your head held high, that golden sky will be on the horizon! YNWA ❤️⚽️
Simply proud to be a Red! Am no where near Europe let alone Liverpool yet it did not stop me from loving everything about this club. Moreover Klopp is not just a manager, he really did gather the Liverpool fan's around the world at one heart, where is Anfield! YNWA
@@acruix5100you're so lucky, I wish but I know I'll be their someday. Am a woman by the way🙂
I don't know how many viewers of this video will have seen the old footage of people being told that Shankly was leaving the club and how heartbroken so many were, but that's how I'm going to feel when Jurgen leaves.
To be honest, I don't even want to think of the moment, he leaves....
me too, me too... it was 1974, the day before I was leaving home for a years student exchange stint in Switzerland, but then we didn't know about all the success and joy Bob Paisley was about to bring us. Shanks built the club, and Bob put the roof on it.
@@millinutz I was one year old in 1974, so missed out on seeing Shankly's sides play, so I envy you that, but I did to watch Bob's sides as young lad. Also, I like the house analogy.
Yeah I've seen that footage from 1974 - at the time and since! I think my Dad said to me "have you heard Shanks is leaving" - I was bereft, I thought he can't go and why would he want to leave! But Bob turned out to be another good'un - cut from the same cloth as Shanks! We've had a good few managers - and a really bad one in Roy Hodgson, but we'll try and forget about him!
Jurgen is special though and it will be a sad day for all of us when he leaves, but the Liver Bird will stay at Anfield and rise again! ❤️YNWA
I love this club, now and forever. Forever Liverpool red.
Let's go Liverpool
Can’t believe this guys era is ending next Sunday thank you jurgen ❤

Sometimes when the dark times come....I blast this and I revel in the joy of being a Liverpool fan…it’s sustained me through the years…and also to add that to have Jurgen come from 2 previous clubs who has YNWA as their anthem is just providence for our club, he understand the ethos and the connections.

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart. This club is home for me.
I was at Anfield in April 2011 for the game against Man City. Listening to this anthem was a wonderful spine-tingling experience ❤

Just goosebumps. For sure, man, each time. From Belarus with love❤
I was depressed and in college in 2008 when I was channel surfing at 3AM. I had never watched football and I came across a rebroadcast of Liverpool and Man United, heading that song just moved me. I was hooked on Liverpool and YNWA got me into the sport. Years later, my grandmother saw I had a YNWA tattoo and started to cry. I thought she was upset, but she told me that when her mother died when she was young, she would listen to this song to comfort her. We bonded over that. I sang it at her funeral this past year. This song brought me to the sport. It brought me and my grandmother closer. YNWA
Still get the hairs on the back of my neck standing up even now after all these years of supporting the reds. Always get emotional when I'm in the ground for some reason when it's played. Think it's because I always think of Hillsborough when it's played. ❤
I love this Club so much
LIVERPOOL (You'll Never Walk Alone ❤️)
I attend every home game and I never tire of singing this. JK gets us, we need to get him to stay beyond 2026, this team with a couple of additions could bring us success again in a year or two and we need him.
My one wish is to experience this at Anfield one day
I really love this song.. So meaningful and and encouraged when we get down from some things we can raise our head up high like a song that telling us to walk on and walk on to encounter the problem together. You'll never walk alone.♥️♥️♥️💯
I love Liverpool forever.🥰🥰🥰
You'll never Walk alone ❤❤❤
Klopp must have loved the song so much. Mainz, Dortmund and Liverpool.
Top LAD Proper Klopper 💪😉👍
It is a prayer 🙏
i get very emotional and teary hearing this song it reminds me of my father who passed away a lifelong liverpool supporter I picture in my mind him singing it. YNWA ❤❤❤
Klopp speaking about the Kop and how this group of people can make you feel 'protected' as he says, how they can be your anchor in your life, how they can be community - that's what modern ultrà culture is about as well. I'm sure he knows, as he has worked in Mainz and Dortmund who both have rather tightly knit supporter and ultra groups, but it was a kinda nice side thought.
The most powerful anthem sung by the most loyal supporters….❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is very emotional. I saw liverpool at anfield for the first time and had tears in my eyes. I remember when we won the league in 2020 and my mum had cancer. Thankfully she recovered from it, but the anthem gave me hope in dreadful times like never before.
Then of course seeing the memorial at the ground, puts it all into perspective. YNWA
