Thanks for putting that together Rob. Ken gets a whole video of the back if his jeep! The climb to the peak doesn't look steep at all in the video but it sure can get the heart rate up.
Eric H yeah unfortunately it never looks as bad in the video. The dash cam is pointed up as the Jeep goes up so the perspective is off. Really love that trail.
It looks as if on a map you can reach the 247 from the top of that steep summit? I have been to the flats but did not attempt this summit. Did you see any trails off the back side heading north east?
We have been up there several times and have concluded that there really is no way to go off the back side from that summit (even though it looks like there might be). It is an out and back trail.
