Great run man! This is one of my all time favorite games and I'm just getting into speed-running it. One thing however: In "Cold Reception", you definitely DO NOT have to sit at the bottom of the elevator and wait for them. I usually have plenty of health from the first part of the level so I quickly kill the first guy looking a way, shoot the second, move up (ignore the health vest) and shoot the next two from close range. You're right you do need to kill them but there's a much faster way of doing that. My fastest time on Cold Reception is 1:56. I'll try and post a video to show you what I do at that part. Keep it up! i learned a lot!
Encounter Bloch (otherwise pump room won't load), go down one floor and jump from the box to the top of the alarm switch (easier than it looks), carefully walk off onto the rail, back up a little and jump to the light sconce below the other railing, jump onto the rail and onto the ladder. This trick only saves like 5 seconds in distance if you do it very quickly, but prevents damage and having to kill enemies on 00 Agent. 3rd floor early in pump room is a much bigger time saver.
Wow that was fast. Some of the short cur you took I would've never thought of. I already beat it but I'm trying to beat it in agent mode, unlock all the weapons, and get the 007 bonus.
Very rarely do you see a speedrunner with a time he/she is truly content with. Congrtualations on reaching that point :) Now play Timesplitter Future Perfect because I can't seem to find any record of anyone who runs it SS, lol.
holy fucking nostalgia... this was the 1st game that i played on 6th gen, i miss 5th and 6th gen, those were the days, now games are shit, if only all of these old games were available on pc so that i could have all of my games in 1 place and play them all to their max :(
Multiplayer wise AUF has a million more options than Nightfire. You can custom everything: weapon sets, movement speed, modifiers, health, teams, modes, etc. Also the overall feeling of shooting is much better in AUF and I prefer the clarity of the graphics too. You will need to get platinum medals on single player levels to unlock everything in multiplayer but it's not difficult with a guide.
The only thing is that the GameCube version is the only one with bots. The PlayStation 2 version doesn't have them, and I'm not sure about the XBox version.
Man I remember playing the SHIT out of this game. I think I beat it like once because that last level was always a pain in my ass. I liked Nightfire and Everything or Nothing more though. Also Bond looks...really weird in this game....
This is incredible! Fantastic stuff! Can't wait to see your Nightfire play through!
R - "And of course, a refrigerated beverage holder."
Bond - "Hmm"
Enemy; "Bond is he-- Sound the alarm!!!
James: ...
that's an accurate speculation !
LOL at the end Malprave is all "NOO! Take me with you!" And then boom she dies lol. Then Zoe is all "I've got you James!" James is all "Sweet Zoe!"
Ah. The memories of like 33% of my childhood.
Makes me wish I beat it, but when I was 7 it was so hard. lmao

I didn't realise that you can simply run away from most of the enemys.

After all these years my 6 year old self was only stuck on mission 5? I thought I was almost done!

I like the players choice in 2003.
That's the copy I grew up with.
I love they slow bullets you can actually see moving along the screen. Ridiculous. James Bond is here!
The bullets aren't slow actually, what you see are tracers showing where the bullet went/came from.
Yeah I am definitely 100% pleased with this run, speed wise and aesthetically.

thanks for making this video
PS2 should be able to do every trick in this run, it came out before the Gamecube version.
this game was fuckin great i miss this
07:04 Blood Stone, but in a vehicle
did this have any good multiplayer? like with bots and stuff?
Big yes, this is my (any many others) favorite Bond multiplayer game. The Gamecube version has bots.
Sweet! How does this game differ from Nightlife?

frankytap I'm in love with the grappling hook, which you can fire at everything :o That's why I like the multiplayer in this game

Couldn't agree more
hi
He's always smirking. Always in a good mood, it's like "Yeah, I love my job..." I think you can guess why. ;)
well done
How do you that trick on the construction level (forgot the name, sorry)? Is it GC only thing? Cause I only have the PS2 version.

Hey, aren't you the user who commented on the pre release video of agent under fire? :)
The shortcut after you first encounter Brock.
Back then I used to thing this game was hard
i like the playaround at 15:40, lol. good luck with nightfire
Which trick do you mean? There are two very noticeable ones.
Okay, but how did you do it?

Fuck. What a great game. That last level was a bitch. Took my 10 year old ass a good 2 months to beat it 😂😂
Me trying to softmod my PS2
