@@coatt I don't think anyone tries to be depressed, life is hard and people feel that from a young age not that i could be considered 'young' anymore. The song is about appreciating someone who loves you despite the fact you can get depressed. @@lowestofthelow. You got it all wrong, I've been through a lot of bad things, definitely more than an average person and I still have this opinion on it. Some people do try to be depressed/ want to be depressed so it reflects on their music when in reality they're completely fine. I think this type of music is cringe cause this is normally the case. And if it's real and from the heart, it's most likely not gonna be anything special because it's still identical to all of the cringe out there, it all blends together and becomes trash. I get your point of view fully, this is just what it's come to after years and years of the same thing over and over. Plus people's music tastes have changed since the 2010's and it's basically impossible to get big without making some weird stuff that sucks. Like the radio for example, all the songs on there have been absolutely trash for years.
