Is this official track or fanmade? Regardless, thank you for posting this, I can't stand hearing Halsey in this song or anywhere else, so now I'm able to listen to this song without cringing. I know that a lot of armys developed a dislike for her because of this colab, but I'm one of those that already didn't like her even before she meet our boys. And it's not that I hate her voice, it's her attitude and worldview that makes it impossible for me to like anything she do. If they don’t like a version of a song with that artist it’s allowed.

It’s ridiculous how some of you are complaining about her voice being loud during HER part. I get that you might like this version better but that reason is ridiculous cause it’s literally a collab what were you expecting from her? To only do backing vocals ?💀 it’s also ridiculous cause she was only loud and clear on the first chorus only, the second chorus you could barley hear her main vocals she was mostly background. So let’s not just hate on her for a ridiculous reason like that. It’s not a good look for our fanbase, artists around the world are afraid of being involved with anything related to the boys cause they’re scared of how the army will treat them and I don’t blame them honestly.
I don't think she was too loud. Personally I prefer male vocals. But honestly nobody really wants these colabs, if you notice a version of a song such as idol with Nikki it has less views than the orginal. The only way a colab gets more views is if it is uploaded before the regular version or if there is no version without said celebrity. Because people don't watch bts to see western artists.
And if bts wants to do them I respect that but it is clear bts fans would rather not have most western colabs, although I'm sure the agency is calling all the shots. Not to mention Halsey is kind of problematic but it isn't related to my main point. I will say the coldplay one was very good.
