  • Tusk Emex T-45 intermediate/hard terrain tire review. 120/90-18, 12psi. with tubes. I ended up getting about 350-400 miles out of it to date and may ride it for one or two more rides, towards the 500 mile mark. #shorts #tusk

Any chance you can do a video on your 300 Beta RR? I'd like to see how you have it set up, you seem to gel really well with it. I'm interested in the bars you run, suspension, etc. Anyway, thought I would ask.

I can put one together. New at the review vid thing so it may take me a bit to put it together.

@@Monkeybutt_ADV Awesome, yeah maybe go over the bike front to back and explain what you've installed and how you have things adjusted. You ride great so it's nice to see how good riders have things adjusted, and what products they use, etc. It's great for everyone else to get ideas. No rush and thanks!

That many hours... how could that condition be negative 🤔
...unless it chunks off knobs in the first 5hrs.
What about side wall stiffness? Run tubes, tubliss or bib?????

The downfall of the tire is that it starts shedding large chunks of knobby early in it's life. Traction is good under acceleration and braking, sidewall stiffness was average and I was running tubes at the time at 12psi. I ride hard desert terrain so it's not an easy environment for a tire, although this is rated as a med/hard terrain tire. Overall it was a decent tire but there are tires that hold up better for longer in the terrain I ride in.

@@Monkeybutt_ADV that's what I found with the IRC VE33S. It would devlope base lug cracks way to soon.
Some have zero issues and maybe I had two bD ones

I still have it, this is just the tire I put on the Beta300. The rear on the KLX is a Sedona MX208 which I've been running since January, it's a beast of a tire but it's rock hard. I've been riding the Beta300 and 200 lately because I just put springs on and I'm trying to get the suspension dialed in on both of them. It's actually been harder to get those bikes working and balanced than the stock KLX.

@@Monkeybutt_ADV oh I thought you might have traded it for the 200. The highland cycles go has some great content and mods for the 300RR and the suspension. I just did my suspension for my 300R with Race Tech and their Gold Valves and highly recommend it on that bike as well if you’re feeling it’s too soft
