I just want to add that Godzilla isn’t a mythical creature, he is a movie monster just like King Kong and Frankenstein, he was first seen as a ripoff of another Japanese movie monster but it was in stop motion which makes the difference between Godzilla as he was(originally) a suit worn by an actor he was first in Gojira which was a Japanese movie made in 1954 and unsurprisingly the title translates to Godzilla thx for listening
