For me it's the fact that Ian's wife is the one who came up with the idea and made the t shirts with mug shots on them which would lead me to believe she advised Ian to capitalize on the neil magny comments ( I don't know that part to be true ) so she herself made her name involved and made it fair game to be spoken about. Sean's past trauma is a completely different beast.

Just in case no one’s answered it, a WAG is something we have here in the UK, it’s a nickname for footballer/soccer players partners, they’re often covered by the trash mags/trash papers and there was even once a tv drama based about the lives of them (which I gotta admit, young teenage me enjoyed for reasons I’m not sure that it was aimed at but at the same time it was very in your face) it’s a very weird goal for some people but you can’t argue the benefits of it

U can't get mad at someone after you disrespect and bring their personal lives into a situation. Strickland put it on the table the second he brought Ian's stuff into it. It is what it is. I completely agree with Askren. Especially in Strickland's case. Strickland grew up getting his brain knocked around. Dude got into professional fighting already likely having CTE. Make fun of the crazy shit he says, sure but don't make fun of a victim of child abuse. Period. There needs to be rules about this in the UFC free speech be damned. The UFC has the ability to censor fighters and fine fighters who cross the line. This isn't the fuckin WWE. This is a real professional sport and should be treated like one. Especially by the fighters.
