I agree that it's important to enjoy your purchases and only "slow buy" things that are going to enhance your experience. I'm looking forward to more of your videos 👍

I stopped buying because I also think it’s ridiculous to own so many - and I think I have around 30 bottles. It’s sad to spend money on something you are not using and it’s a big waste. We should all enjoy what we have and not always buy new things that sits and collects dust 💕🙏🏼

I want to use and enjoy what I have, perhaps sort through redundant fragrances to declutter, and be more selective and intentional when I do start to add more to my collection again. Most all of my purchases have been blind buys and holding onto all of them while continuing to buy more isn’t a good long term plan for me. I just blind bought Florabotanica on Notino about a week ago and OH MY GOD, it’s absolutely gorgeous!! I was so sad to hear that it was discontinued, I think I’ll buy another 2-3 bottles and try to keep them as long as possible without them going bad.
The only perfume I’ve ever repurchased is Flowerbomb. Great video pretty lady! I think when my Black Opium( I only have a 1 ounce) is finished ,I’m purchasing the intense version. ❤️
Hi Sally! I have the Black Opium Neon and it is gorgeous! On me, it is all about the dragon fruit + jasmine with a coffe background, beautifully blended. It lasted a fair amount of time, around 4-5 hours or so, where I will get whiffs of it every now and then, in the german winter cold. It also has quite a nice projection, as people can smell it outside your bubble (in a warm day), yet not heavy nor "beast mode". I can't wait to try it on summer time😊 I hope this helps🌸

I think reviewing samples would be a good idea! I feel the same about buying perfumes. I love trying new things and talking about it but I don't always want to commit to a full bottle.
Divide your fragrances into each season and for the season that you have the most see what fragrances you can wear in a season that you have less fragrances for. This way you get to enjoy and use them all. For instance I’m saving Dolce & Gabbana and Salvatore Misteriosa for Spring even though I can wear them when it’s cold.

What you said about slowing down the pace in which we buy fragrances is what we should do. We on the other hand are perfume lovers so we can't stop getting to know new scents. Good mornig Sal! Excellent video. I completely agree with you regarding an immediate full bottle purchase. Rather than a haul video, you could periodically prepare a clip where you test samples of fragrances you are really interested in. You could pick up 4 or 5 samples and a clip on individual samples, a couple together, whatever frequency you deem to be appropriate. I don't have a large collection (< 50, not including samples) but sometimes look at a few almost full bottles and wonder when I will be wearing them! It seems a little excessive, for me personally anyway. There are always one or two indicators that you may have reached a purchase ceiling at whatever stage of collecting one may be at, I feel. :0)

I had a limit of 30 and some how I have 55 right now. But I’m not buying anymore because it’s not logical. I have more fragrances for cold weather and not as much for warmer weather. I’m what I do is save certain ones for spring that I can also wear in winter so I make sure to use all my winter and fall fragrances.
Really enjoyed this Sal! And the end part made so much sense. This time last year I had over 100 bottles of perfume and now I’m around 17-18 bottles. And I must say that I get so excited every time I wear these that I have now and they give me so much joy. Everything started to feel like wearing every other perfume when I had way too many bottles and it was impossible to appreciate them enough. Happy New Year too! 😊

My heart hurts when I recently found out Balenciaga discontinued florabotanica. I brought 2 back up 100ml bottles. It's my absolute favorite warm weather fragrance. Heart broken. There's nothing out there like it. I hope one of these new companies make a good dupe.

I like Black opium intense too! I can't afford it now though. I do own the Nuit Blanche version. It has a caramel and rice note in there, that makes it very interesting.

Hi Sally I happened upon a 30ml bottle of the florabotanica at TJMaxx during the summer and it was a great price so I blind bought it at first spray it was kinda like I don’t know 😕 but when I let it dry down it became interesting to me so now it’s a yes 😃 I understand holding off from a lot of purchases and enjoying what you have I purchase more inspired fragrances than anything else and right now I have more than enough Last year I came upon the perfume house Dossier and they were having great holiday sales so I stocked up on the ones I like Enjoyed Your Video as Usual 🤗
Hi Sally! One idea I have for you is doing an individual perfume review more in depth from what you have in your collection and linking it to an occasion or an experience of some kind. You could even show the box, etc. and for ex. Link it to an artwork of some kind or even music. Just an idea 😉You don’t have to buy something to do a video about it. Just experiencing it is fine somehow. I only have about 15 fragrances right now and also started collecting around the pandemic. I got some new for Xmas and blind bought some recently at a discount store. They are Gardenia by Elizabeth Taylor (absolutely adore it), Walk on Air, and Viva la Juicy. Loved them all. That Florabotanica artwork is stunning btw! Best👋😍💖

Hi Sally! One idea I have for you is doing an individual perfume review more in depth from what you have in your collection and linking it to an occasion or an experience of some kind. You could even show the box, etc. and for ex. Link it to an artwork of some kind or even music. Just an idea 😉You don’t have to buy something to do a video about it. Just experiencing it is fine somehow. I only have about 15 fragrances right now and also started collecting around the pandemic. I got some new for Xmas and blind bought some recently at a discount store. They are Gardenia by Elizabeth Taylor (absolutely adore it), Walk on Air, and Viva la Juicy. Loved them all. That Florabotanica artwork is stunning btw! Best👋😍💖

I'm on a low buy/no buy until March. I don't go crazy anyways and buy alot at a time. But I did buy too much in 2020 and I want to enjoy the ones I currently have and also finish up some that have huge dents and are not a love for me...
