Little known fact. The xgames is rigged against the japanese and it couldnt be more obvious. either that or we got some racist judges. and no. im not japanese.

These contests should be won by who lands the most out of a list of tricks or something of that nature... not won by an opinion-based decision. That goes for dunk contests too. Instead of giving a number based on how impressed you were, the contestants should have to do specific dunks to earn points and have points deducted after an amount of attempts, and have that go on for 3 rounds, and have a freestyle round for the 4th round in which they could do any dunk they wanted like the traditional dunk contest. But just have the first 3 rounds settled by doing specific dunks so that the judges can’t give a low score for personal reasons.
*XGames & 2000’s Hip Hop* no mate that’s retarded, skating and basketball dunks and pretty much every other sport don’t work like that. Everyone does a certain ‘trick/dunk’ in their own way with their own style. One with more air, etc. so what ur saying is just not plausible at all.

Because he's one of the most consistent vert skaters ever. Possibly the MOST consistent. Not saying he's the (subjective) best, or that he does the most difficult tricks. He just lands most of what he tries most of the time.

Can I say that no score will ever beat Bob's '01 run.. of a 98?! Just saying. Til this day.. best run !!..and loads of lip tricks and switch madness! Cheers Bob 🍻
The thing with vert skating is you get the most points for hight and clean runs. Technicality is important but landing clean and getting good hight scores alot, plus there are certain tricks which the judges want to see in order to impress them.
I hate to say this...X-games vert skate judges have failed to protect the public eyes this time. Jimmy Wilkins was kinda lame today and was not even close comparing to moto and not consistent at all. 3 runs fail to finish clean even his best run.
