Thanks a million for the video, both the video and the song are fantastic. they bring back lots of memories, I grew up in Carrigans, the link was sent to me by my brother Paddy Bond, now living in Letterkenny.
One of my brothers sent me the link to this. Lovely to see it: grew up in Carrigans, and was a member of the Athletic Club in St Johnston for many years: many's a meeting we were at in Newtowncunningham. I believe two more of my brothers feature at 3.15.
Lee, I really enjoyed this movie esp since I could recognize quite a bit of it. I'd love to learn more about who made the movie and for what purpose, it seems like much more than your typical home movie. At least our home movies were never this well put together... and the song was a winner esp if you picked it out of TH-cams rubbish bin... never knew they had any good songs in there!!
@donegalsteve I had a different song on this initially Steve, Rod stewart's "You wear it well", but it got removed due to copyright..so I picked a free one from youtube's playlist. It turns out that all of bagatelle's music is on there!
@bigbeninjax How old do you think I am Ben?...ha ha!. No, actually that shot was filmed in Carrigans, a village a few miles over the road from Newtoncunningham. St Johnston is another couple of miles further up from there.

@lukessummer A gentleman never answers that question, but since I'm no gentleman, I'd say.....uh, well, the picture IS in colour so you can't be TOO old. LOL.
