I’m really excited to use my unimom- I got it at no cost through BCBS because I’m having twins. I was shook, it came to my door 4 days after calling to request it.
It disconnects from the backflow protector. The tubes are attached to it and hang from the side. I pump and all of the sudden a tube pops off. I keep my pump nearby on my desk which is about the same height as where the flanges are
I took have BCBS wondering if you went through breastpumps website or to your insurance company I got it offered to me at $56 but before I place my order I want to research if I can get it for free just like you
I am really considering getting the Unimom opera. I’m just a little weary because the reviews I’m seeing online are very mixed, and very few. I haven’t been able to find much about them. But I’m super interested. It’s just a lot of money to put out for a pump that might not work well for me.
I did not. I have really considered it. Still do. I’ve seen a few lactation consultants suggest it which is why I’m intrigued. I got the Pumpables genie advanced, and I love it. I think I’m gonna get another pump for back in case something were to happen to my GA. I’m torn between Unimom Opera and the Baby Buddha
I LOVE my Spectra SG and I would solely use it if it had a rechargeable battery. I’m just sad because I can’t find a portable pump that reaches those same standards set by my SG 😩
I didnt respond to the spectra gold at all, it takes me forever to get a let down. I've been trying to love the mso much because I bought two of them. Love my Opera though and if I want something smaller I pull out my LM duette. I really wish I learned what my body responded to best with cheaper pumps before I invested so much into those spectra golds. I know now I respond best to the higher cycle speeds in massage mode and the long pulls in expression mode. I love that my LM duette goes down to 20 cpm, i think thats why I do so well well wit the constant suction of the willow 3.0's.
My body did not respond to the unimom opera at all I used the spectra gold with previous baby so went back …was so glad I had a s1 as a back up saved my first week pumping… spectra the vibration on the suction is amazing love it
Same can’t live without the lactation massagers … I really tried to like the unimom after a few weeks I had to give it up now on a hunt for wearables that I will respond to so hard
Also my spectra manual says : Massage mode cycle speed is 64,67,70,73,76 Expression mode cycle speed is 38,42,46,59,54 Not sure if it’s correct But from experience when I tried the unimom ops cycle speed 100 was uncomfortable
how does noise level compare? i am concerned about being on a zoom work meeting and everyone hearing it if I have to unmute. i am researching noise cancelling mics as a result and yes plan to muffle the sound. Spectra claims 45 decibels on massage mode but doesn't state on expression mode. Unimom doesn't publish decibels and I am not sure at what distance from pump spectra is measured
Any recommendations for a site that offers unimom through insurance? Also, can you make a review comparing Cimilre (5+ is what I'm wondering most about) and Spectra (I guess Gold, since it's the dual motor option)? 🙏

That’s awesome!! I hope you like it 💙 good luck with your twins! Feel free to reach out if you need any help.
I got it and I mostly like it. My biggest issue is the tubing suddenly falls out when I’m pumping
@@ACaliangel91 that’s a bit odd! Where does it disconnect from?

I have the Unimom opera and I really like it but I am a first time mom so I have nothing else to compare it.

Hi did you end up getting the unimom? If so, how do you like it? I’m having a hard time deciding if I want that one!

I’m obsessed with my SG! I used it with my second and will be pulling it out for baby girl coming in April! With all new parts of course
Love to hear it! I love the SG as well.

I didn't either at first. I pumped with spectra on one side for a few sessions and I still have to use massagers but I love the unimom

@@BadmaaishyI've heard willow go is comparable to spectra but haven't used it personally
I use both and im so glad you finally made this video!!
What are your thoughts as a user of both? Which to you like and for what reasons?
I'd love to know as well please!
Also my spectra manual says :
Massage mode cycle speed is 64,67,70,73,76

Not sure if it’s correct

Which spectra do you have?
@@NewLittleLifeThis is what my Spectra Gold manual says as well, the gold plug in one. I wish the cycle speed went higher!
@@NewLittleLifeI’m in Australia so Spectra Dual S from Australian store
Does the unimom opera have some vibration like the spectra?
Can you please compare the tommee tippee double electric pump to the spectra s1

is the spectra gold Hospital strength suction like the S2?
Do you have recommendations on where to get new flange inserts for the unimom? They only sell 21, 24, and 30.. need smaller sizes.
Looking for this answer also. Wife is a 17mm in Spectra
If they don’t sell the right flange size, you’ll need to get an insert. www.amazon.com/shop/newlittlelifebyallison/list/3N8G6877TGLIP
What does it mean by SG is multi user pump?
Have you tested the momcozy M5 and/or the Boon trove manual pump (apparent elvie curve dupe)?
Is there a way to check the unimom opera’s total hours?
Can i use spectra’s air tube on unimom?
Any recommendations for a site that offers unimom through insurance?

I used adapthealth to order the opera through insurance. Quick shipping and great service.
A battery is a big deal. Honestly, spectra should only have battery options at this point in comparison to all the other pumps out there with battery.
AGREED!
Zomee makes unimom ♡
Unimom is almost $1000 Canadian
It’s definitely an expensive pump!
