wow, that was profound. when she asked you "why are you judging yourself?" i realized how much i judge myself and make myself wrong for not doing life "perfectly". i'm an empath who was criticized by my mother so much while growing up, because she thought she was helping, but it all only made me feel very self-conscious and like i was *wrong* all the time.
Thank you for this, I really have a hard time to receive. If it’s ever possible I would love a more in-depth video of how to actually start receiving from others and letting those guards down.
Just recently I asked a coworker if I could have there free lunch as well because I was hungry and didn’t eat all day and I literally started getting anxiety and guilty for even asking for my needs to be met.
A friend of mine once said to me, imagine if you were critical and judgmental of your friends the way you are to yourself... Made me laugh how awful of a friend I was to myself.
