It's an insult I won't take personally though because this conersation finally helped me understand something I struggled to comprehend. Being a descendant of Africans violently tranported to America, seperated from our families, stripped of our names and native languages, intentionally (and systematically) pitted against one another, the MAAFA (terrorism) ... the attack on the identy and the culture that our ancestors came from has been intense and relentless.
