    have you changed the grate/firedoor ? i'd also like to see a video of your cleaning regime please, Ash, fellow G.G owner

      Yes the grate assembly is not the original. The SRS one works very well, we just like a deeper fire!
      Cleaning: Sweep tubes, hoover ash, wash paintwork, wipe over chassis + valve gear, and polish brass. I must admit I spend a lot of time cleaning, and the video would end up being 4 hours long!

    Very nice. Where you using steam oil or something else for 'oiling up'?

      Thanks for the comment!
      The oil shown in the video was bearing oil.
      We put steam oil in the mechanical lubricator, that pumps it into the steam pipe.
