यदि बैटरी की लाइफ सही रखना है तो बस चार बातों का ध्यान रखना है। 1 टर्मिनल साफ हो, 2 एसिड/डिस्टिल वाटर तय सीमा से ज्यादा और कम न हो। 3 बैटरी की चार्जिंग और डिसचार्ज दर बैटरी की क्षमता का 10 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा न हो। सरल शब्दों में बैटरी को कभी भी ओवरलोड न करे। धन्यवाद। आप ने जो खाने का सोडा डाला जाने का फार्मूला दिया उसका बहाना बनाकर कंपनी वारंटी क्लैम में दिक्कत कर सकती है।
Baking soda is a weak alkaline powder and it will neutralise the Sulphuric Acid of the cells. It will also produce Sodium Sulphate (Na2So4), Water (H2O) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in this process. These products will adversely affect the Ph of the liquid by changing it towards basic Ph. The ion movement inside the cell shall be modified and so the current flow too. I fail to understand what high level chemistry is aimed at to improve the battery by putting NaHCO3 ie Baking Soda, inside the battery cell. I am anxious to learn it.

हम बाजार से बैटरी का पानी 5ltr वाला डब्बा लाते हैं जो लगभग सात से आठ माह चलता है .....क्या हम उसमें 5 चुटकी मीठा सोडा और 25 ml एसिड पहले से उसमें मिलाकर रख सकते ? 7-8 महीने में वह खराब तो नहीं होगा ?

17.2 sulfuric acid H2SO4 is used for battery. And it must be used after 2-3 year for battery operation. You must never use baking soda. Baking soda is alkaline (basic) acid.

The acid should not be added every time. Better is to check the gravity by battery acid checker. This batter gravity tester is available with all the battery dealers or repair shops for about 100 Rupees. If fully charged battery shows less than 1250 gravity, the green markings on the float of gravity tester, then this will not give full backup. In this condition you may add acid during next top up. The battery life reduces if gravity is quite high.
The best water is defrost water of your refrigerator or the ice formed on the freezer of the refrigerator. I don't add anything in this and get almost 5-6 years good life of FP battery. I ensure that the battery has proper level and keep at least a tube or two on when I am away on vacation.

ये बात गलत है की बिटरिमे पानी उड़नेसे एसिड की ताक्तत कम होंती जाती है। उल्टा एसिड की ताकत बढ़ती है। एसिड कभी उड़ेगा नहीं।

Then what should I do with my car battery for repair purpose to increase life for few months.
Sir after seeing your blog on battery equaliser I planned for the same i checked my batteries Exide tubeller one was bought 2 years back and one recently they are in series with 24 volt 3150 copper model os nexus, both battries are charges at same volt. So i dropped the idea of equaliser
