I explain the details in this video: • MY PARTNER COMPANIES -...
I want to let you know that I cooperate with a couple of tool companies. Occasionally, they provide me with some of their tools for me to use in the shop.
But: Whenever you see me using a tool it means that I like it and think it’s worth using. When I do a review, I tell you my honest opinion.
I want to be transparent about these partnerships, however, so that you’re not kept in the dark and can make up your own mind if you think I’m in fact unbiased or not.
My partner companies are: Bessey, Kreg, Maschinenhandel Meyer, Triton, Bosch Professional, PNZ Produkte (as of 09/2020)

Absolutely awesome video !!! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks!
Wonderful job!!
Thank you!
Looks great ! well done
Thanks a lot Michael
Thanks for this video - i think ill give it a try!
Great! Good luck.
Thankyou for taking the time to make this video at what must be a busy time for you in your work Andreas. We all appreciate how time consuming it is actually doing a project without trying to capture it on film. Kind Regards and wishing you a safe time through this all. Stuart from England.👍
Thanks for your kind words and your understanding, Stuart!
It's been a while, glad to see you again!
Thank you - feels good to be in the shop and to make videos.
Wow that looks sturdy
It is 😉
gelungen👍 gute idee und wie immer top moderiert🍀💚
Vielen Dank Lukas!
Very nice!
Thanks John.
I envy you man, you’ve got quite a tool selection at your finger tips (thousands of dollars of tools I dream of having) What I truly appreciate about you is your integrity to how you do your work, you are true and accurate to being square, level as well as your measurements, your cuts, etc… not trying to date you man, just thought I’d compliment you,I wish I could do what you do and had all those awesome tools to do it with LoL!! Anyway, great job man take care…
Thanks for your kind comment. It means a lot to me! And it made me realise that I have come a long way. I come from a family in which money was not abundant but have since worked to get a decent job and some side hustles which help me pay for the tools etc. so your comment made me appreciate all that - what a gift you gave me! Thank you!
Welcome back! :D
Thanks Mike. Have you seen my workbench videos? I have been back already, I think - depending on what you mean by it 😉
I love that your a Bosch Man. It's great to see the new tools actually in use. Had you thought about maybe doing a French Cleat lumber rack? Great video and thank you.
Thanks James. I hadn’t considered french cleats for this - I don’t think it would be sturdy enough.
I have an affinity for Bosch (Professional) tools too.
I like your rack! Good work!
Hi Andreas, nice to see you, hope for all goods with you and yours.
One thing: I would have inserted at first a 10mm thick board on the pipes, so that you have a real shelf. So you can storage also shorter parts.
Cheerio aus dem Schwabenland.
Thanks Alfred. For shorter pieces I have my lumber rack and the open pipes allow for more flexible access. But thanks for the idea.

und super Idee

Vielen Dank.
9:39 "So, all the pipes are in" well... I think I can see at least one empty hole :P
Nice lumber rack Andreas. I'm thinking of building some kind of rack that's suspended from the ceiling. Unfortunately I don't have enough wall space left.
I like your X-Lock grinder by the way.
Thanks - and well-spotted. At that point, I wanted to leave out two pipes and therefore thought I was finished. I changed my mind later. 😉 - Good luck with your project.
I hope you're sponsored by Bosch, with all that "product placement"!🤣
Nice job btw.
Thanks. All the Bosch tools are paid for with my own money.I asked Bosch some years back but they rarely sponsor channels and if they do, only larger ones.
Instead of drilling the holes at 90° it would have been beneficial to drill them at a slight angle so that when load comes on them they lock themselves better into the wood and dont make em potentially sag to the point where material could slip down. Other than that, nice project, well done.
I noticed your bandmeassure, looks like a Sola, are you happy with it?
You’re right - however, I couldn’t think of a good way of drilling them. By now I think I have an idea but now it’s too late. So far, nothing sags and nothing slips.
The Sola tape measure is awesome - best tape measure I’ve tried … and I’ve tried many.
@@holzhandwerk_ak a simple wedge cut at the desired angle could have been enough, depending on the length of your table either under the workpiece or the drill itself.
Dann werde ich mir das Sola genauer anschauen, danke.
You could drill a small hole from the side and install a set screw.
Good idea, thanks.
Happy xmas Andreas hope all is well with you. Regards Stuart Bell from England
Thanks very much Stuart - I wish you all the best for the new year! All is well here, new project is in the works!

@@holzhandwerk_ak i dont know if you ever wonder about the faces behind the messages. Hopefully this finds you as I,m a bit of an internet luddite. Happy new year when it comes
What are those anchors you used? Never seen anything quite like them.
They are frame fixings. You can read about them here www.fischer.co.uk/en-gb/products/frame-fixings/frame-fixing-sxrl/frame-fixing-sxrl-with-countersunk-head-screw
Excellent video! Just what i was looking for!
What dimension framing lumber is that, if you dont mind sharing? Also the conduit pipe size? (I watched video twice and did not hear it mentioned)
Thanks!
Thanks.
The lumber is 70 x 70 mm. The pipes have 34 mm.
thanks so much! @holzhandwerk_ak
Update: I can't get materials of those dimensions in my area, so I got some 4x4 cedar posts (which is harder than my only other option of pine/fur). I'll square off the round endges/sides, and try 1 1/4 inch conduit pipe. Hope to reply in a couple weeks to let you know how it goes/holds-up, thanks again!
@@gambit1001 how did it go :)?
@MrGougui so far so good, I used it to hold my project lumber for drying and also for prep lumber for summer projects!
What drill press stand is that?
Check out my video about it here: kit.co/holzhandwerk_ak/my-drill-press-drill-mount
What are the dimensions of the wood studs?
They’re 70 x 70 mm
So after a year… How's the rack holding up?
Great.
Still using this system?
Yes. Still works fine.
Isint a risk the pipe discoulring the wood?
The wood I store on this rack is all rough an will be sanded or planed before use so that’s no problem.
Wo bekommt man diese Abdeckkappen?
Ich habe sie bei amazon gekauft, Suchbegriff “Rohrkappe Kunststoff“. Da gibt es sehr viele verschiedene Varianten.
Are you fattening up the chicken for the BBQ? 🐔
My daughter would be devastated - BBQ is out of the question.
I'm sorry Andreas but I don't like this idea
I'm pretty sure that the holes will expand in time and the pipes will get loose
Regards
Carlos
Fair enough, Carlos - if you turn out to be right, I’ll let you know!
Not the case build mine 15 years ago and they still hold as firm as ever but i did drill the holes at slight angle.
