I just watched him in The Outsider. Always been a fan of his but never knew he was Australian. So funny hearing his actual accent. You can't even tell in his movies. His accents are perfect.

This guy is awesome I love all his roles! He nailed it in "The Place Beyond the Pines", "Killing them Softly", "Bloodline"...all were awesome!! I thought his best performance was 'Killing them Softly'

His performance in bloodline was incredible! He was fantastic he must receive a price for his interpretation

I have seen Ben Mendelsohn in movies from the mid 90s when he was in his mid twenties. He had a lot of black wavy hair and he has the most beautiful blue eyes.

I just watched him in Mississippi Grind. Amazing performance by him and a great movie.
He is in an Australian film called "The Big Steal" made in 1990. Its a comedy and he is a good guy in it.He plays a slightly awkward teenager in high school trying to win the affections of the beautiful, popular girl .
In fact, he mainly played good guy roles until "Animal Kingdom" in 2010. That film got him noticed in Hollywood . But just before tht he had a rough patch where he couldnt get roles for some time. Its great to see him succeeding and getting more widely known now .
That's how he got involved with Marvel. The directors of Mississippi Grind are doing Captain Marvel and asked Ben if he wanted to play the villain.
Great great movie. He is great... watch him on bloodline if you can
That was a slow burning, amazing movie, but didn’t get great reviews. I guess most people are into cartoon acting and not character acting these days.
