this isnt the version elvis recorded for release. The actual version is On Stage 1970...This was Elvis being more playful. No where near as clean as the one i mention. Which is by far Better than Dels original. Elvis did it edgier.

On most songs Elvis generally nails it, but this was one of those he didn't. Still a good version of it, but I DO agree 100% with what you posted, cos Del Shannon's is better.
