If anyone still uses FB you may notice that USPSA Area 2 has two Facebook pages. The first created in Sept of 2014. The second page was created in June of 2020. LO is not an Admin on the first page.....
Just coming up to speed on all this. Crazy. Would love to see a more practical 2-gun that's less fast and furious and more "become ungovernable". More armored matches and stuff, really focusing on solving unique challenges while giving people opportunities to test gear and get used to it. Tons of people would go for that.
The shadow banned individuals should file a complaint with USPSA and with the range board. Even if the complaints get round filed they are still on notice that there are issues. These complaints do accumulate over time and eventually people get a clue. Usually. 8^) And Ben, You're right about staying out of drama when running someone you have an issue with. Making sure the match is fair and clean is the point. (and Fun).
Schultz hosts local matches for both Wisconsin section (Schultz USPSA) and Northern Illinois section (NISA), also hosted Northern Illinois section match the last two years. Match may return in 2025 at a different host range.
Doesn't this contravene IPSC bylaws?, if you are a member in good standing (fees paid up, have shot level 1 matches and a full qualifier/enough points for an L3 slot) being refused a slot on the open buy squads is something that can force the World Body and the President to investigate and punish those involved?
IPSC matches can only be run by the recognised Region, and L2 and L3 matches need to be run and organised directly by the affiliated region, USPSA ARE the governing body who are the IPSC region for the US. FUN FACT if you get this shadowban from the USPSA it can be used to fuck your ability to shoot foreign IPSC events because you need the permission of your Region Director to shoot L1 events outside of your region.
Eventually, every dictatorship falls.
Correct, but a lot of people die before that happens. Sad

It's an IPSC match, not a USPSA match.
IPSC is affiliated with USPSA in US.
@@thatmikereedUSPSA are the US IPSC Region
Schultz is the club you are referring to and it’s in the section as well.
I’m not even a member, and I hope they ban me 🤣
Rock On Ben.

I'm done with USPSA. Who needs 'em?
Can the guys that got soft banned not get in touch with IPSC (if it’s a different staff from USPSA) about what’s going on?
if the soft ban is for USPSA why get a shadow ban for s IPSC match when they are different associations?
