With a resolution of 1.5k on Poco, it's a good optimization (from the update) It's usually 4 - 5 hours of intense gaming that I've seen and tested as well. Usually 6 hours if you are a true gamer who puts the graphics on medium.
Only testers and ROG phone users uses max graphics and if you can afford that then good for you. All I'm saying is that POCO has done a decent job when it comes to the x6 pro.
Heating will happen a lot of times and I don't see the motherboard dying because POCO learned after that x3 disaster and it took a hit on them, plus the D8300 Ultra is made by TSMC not Samsung who is a bad maker of "cheapsets" (Chipset).
You can see some gaming tests and other heating/throttling test on other tech users and they notice how it's a bit optimized than other Dimensity 8 series.
Other than that, I respect everyone's view.
We all use our phones differently.

I'm planning to buy poco X6 pro. I'm a student (casual gamer). Lately my only concern has been with the battery life and heating issue on that device without gaming as I've seen some users commenting about it. Is there any heating or battery drain issue currently during use without gaming?

I myself use poco x2 which was just a midrange phone with no extraordinary features at that price point so we can't even say that for features and performance quality is being compromised still iam facing too much battery issue

@@somapal2228Me too, I use a POCO F5 now but my previous phone was POCO X2 and my brother uses it now the battery drain problem is same here but it's not the device's fault it's because of the shitty miui, I am gonna install Evolution X Android 13 on it and will update you if the battery performance increases.
