It is completely understandable. I, myself, would play other characters to take a break from the mental toll playing her would have on me, I'm glad it helped! If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask and good luck fellow Tracy player!!
Her raw kite is one of the more difficult ones to fo due to her slow interaction where you have to be more mindful with your rotation. 🎉 Your mech tips are quite nice and keep it up 💯
Definitely, she got buffed on that nowadays though (15% debuff instead of 30%) which makes her easier to kite with but yeah, it still does apply nevertheless!! Thank you so much, glad my tips helped!
Thank you for this! I really wanna get into Tracy, since I've mained Dream Witch for about 4 years now. Guess I should prepare for survivor rank hell haha
You're welcome, best of lucks, if you got any other questions I didn't cover here about ranking with Tracy, feel free to hit me up, you got this, I'm rooting for you
@@MarysWifey Well,, I was wondering if you know what a good persona web is, with explanations of why certain traits are picked. I mostly play Little Girl and Gardener, and now I'm picking up Mechanic, and for the former two, I learned about their persona webs by watching other professional players or just high-tiers, but those usually don't have explanations for why certain skills are chosen. Do you have any reccomendations for Tracy, and reasons for them? Thank you in advance!
@@tipherethscrub982 It purely depends on how you plan to play Tracy, I won't recommend a specific build to you, something I can do though is list the builds that I have seen with her, whether played by me or by other players (and yeah, those builds can also apply to most characters tbh for some of them) Kiter Tracy: For this specific playstyle, the builds are 39 and 312. 39: This build can be picked if you want to capitalize on kiting as her to the fullest. This build will help you make distance with the hunter when kiting which is very good for transition kiting or to run away from hits. I would consider this playstyle to be the safest playstyle because 9 is very easy to use and it is efficient and has a 40 seconds cooldown which means that you get 2 speed boosts every 40 seconds (sorta, each speed boosts got the same cooldown from when you use it) 312: It is good against skills like Hastur's tentacle, Naiad's water, etc. The downside is that it has to be timed correctly, it however can be extremely good if you master it. I would consider this playstyle situational because of having to time the flywheel and the 120 seconds cooldown. Rescuer Tracy (my main playstyle): Tracy is considered by multiple players (including me) as a semi-rescuer because of her decoding debuff when 2 survivors are injured and therefore being more fitting to rescue. The build is 36. This build is to be used if you plan to be a second rescuer or want to take advantage of the 20 seconds of last effort after the rescue. 20 seconds represents 1/4th of a cipher being decoded by a survivor with a normal decoding speed, it can be extremely good when it is done after a rescue near the first bar as it helps you buy time. The risk with this build is that you will have to rely on raw kiting. Insane Kiter Tracy: 912: Basically a combination of the 2 builds I mentioned above, very risky build because you'll always have to keep your health in mind. It however can be extremely rewarding if you fully capitalize on 9 and 12 and kite for an extremely long time. Rescuer Kiter Tracy: 69 & 612: Same goes for 912, you will have to be careful because of the lack of borrowed time, I did explain about tide turner and broken windows above so it is pretty much the same thing here. At the end of the day, whatever playstyle you pick, it can work out if you have the right strategy with it. Little warning about the no bt builds though: in ranked, many players tend to forget the lack of BT which makes the build even riskier than it already is. Hope that answered!
@@MarysWifey Thank you for the in-depth explanation!! As a small follow-up, what secondary skills should I take? Exit Path is a given, but for example, Little Girl runs 39 with Weber's law and the skill which gives you a speed boost when rescued whose name escapes me. Are there any particular secondary skills that are good for Tracy?
@@tipherethscrub982 You're very welcome! I would generally recommend snooze as you might spend your lifetime on chairs while decoding with doll, take advantage of that by increasing snooze on her. Another cool trait would be the one that increases vault speed before 9 in the build (in case you do not take 9), it can definitely help when kiting as her. There might be more traits tbh, they just don't come to mind rn, hopefully that still helped!
Ooh! So for the bot, you'll have to come back to it every time to make it decode again. Generally what Tracys do is that they deploy it, place it on a cipher, make it start decoding and come back to it to check the calibration, make the doll stop decoding and decode again to reset the calibration every 2-4 seconds. It's hard to explain over text but in many Mechanic gameplays they do it. It's a maneuver that takes some time to master when doing it at first because it is purely multitasking between your main body decoding and your doll decoding. Hopefully I helped! You're welcome
If I had 1€ for every time I or another friend/buddy go through bs because of other survivors as Tracy in matches, I would be a billionaire by now.
Thank you so much, I'm learning this character for the sake of my sister
im a b badge tracy and its so hard motivating myself to continue playing as her 😭😭😭 but this was pretty helpful!!
