First hit the breaker to fully cut electricity to both inside and outside unit for a minute, then turn it on again. It might be fixed that easilly. My P4 error was fixed like that.
Well that's possible Because, if the voltages get low in the unit still the p4 error can be displayed. This could be the problem with your unit, the eeprom data got reset after you once turned it off and then turn it on.

I have done some testing with my LG unit because the compressor does not run, it wanted to run for 1 second and quits and makes a weird noise and stops. After some attempts it shows error 6 blinks on the indoor and outdoor unit. The info I found about this error is DC peak error, I dont know if it is correct or not. My LG inverter machine model is S09AW. Neo Plasma I did check IPM and tested ok on the high side disconnected from the outlet. But when is connected it only gets 9,5v on U,V,W. On your video it shows 15v maybe my ipm is not good or could it be someting wrong on the low side on the ipm? Ipm on high side has 315v dc I did tested resistance test on the compressor and it gives me 0.9ohm on all 3 points U,V,W and no shorts with case or pipes. Can you help me? My machine is mounted on the wall its not easy to test it connected to 230v. I hope you can point me into right direction. I've watched a ton of your videos and they are great. I cannot find any service manual for my machine maybe because its old... the Ipm voltage are good from 11 to 15 volts. Yes service manuals are hard to get. You can search for them online in pdf form. Can you send me the video of the blinks in your ac, maybe I could help you, send them on instagram or facebook. Thank you.
The problem is I dont have instagram/facebook. My indooor blinks 6 times and the outdoor also flash 6 times this machine only has one red led on the outdoor pcb. I did post a video on my youtube channel on the last answer. As I said earlier the IPM has 315v on high side but does not output 15v to U-V-W pins, they only get 9 or 9.5v On the video I uploaded to youtube you can ear the motor about to start but maybe because it only gets 9vdv it quits to start. The machine try to start the motor several times before throwing the error. Thanks
@@forevertechenglish Yep, half motherboard is dead. The external unit only start in bridged mode. The technical service says that IPM is fried and there is no replacement and new MB is on 320€.

You mean to say that your air conditioner was showing a p4 error code, you replaced the board with new, can i know which board you replaced the indoor or the outdoor? After replacing the board it still show p4 error that what you mean to say.
Thank you after an electricity shutdown on my block I found out some of the wires have loosen up and fixing them solved my problem

On low side of the ipm i have 14.7v and 5v.
On the high side of the ipm i dont have 14.7v i only have 9.5v why?

Why the P4 error show we're is the problem but before the same problem thats why we change the board
