One thing that I have learn, once you have any amount of hair anything can be done❤❤❤
Its easier to say that than to say they don’t know how.
Sometimes it’s not that the length of your hair is too short, but that the length of your hair isn’t strong enough to carry the density of the extra hair (micro links) meaning that you’re at a higher risk of traction alopecia.

I’m so glad that I found your channel!! Your hair is realistically similar to mine and you are showing me exactly what I have been thinking about doing to my hair. If you’d installed the bundles shortest to longest you could’ve styled it the way you wanted. And, it would’ve falling into a bob. Which is my favorite style. Ywigs is my favorite! I’ve bought about six items from them with Zip and loved all of them. I wasn’t sure about the micro links, but your video has me convinced that they’d be perfect for me.

Looks great. Wow. I never used that texture and will try it. I do mine with straight kinky and only fill in half my hair using one pack to give length and leave the rest of my hair out and fill in the links i between. These are addicting to have in my hair.

How many links did you use and did you leave a row of your natural hair in between each line of links? I was just wondering of that was necessary for the up down looks yo hide the links. My hair is maybe an inch long at best but I've been wearing rubber and faux locs so I figured this may work just the same🤞🏾

Hi, thanks for this video. I have 4c hair texture so my hair is not curly at all it’s just nappy, do you think I can use the carols daughter like you did to get my hair to blend with this hair? When I wet my hair it shrinks and mat down so I’m afraid to go through all of this work to install the hair then it don’t even blend with my hair at all
Hi, you definitely should try out the carols daughter to help bring more definition to your curls , but if your texture/curl pattern doesn’t match the texture/ curl pattern of the hair you get, it most likely won’t blend no matter what product you use. My hair are lesser than 5 inches

thank you! yes it usually lasts a few months with proper maintenance and they’re removed the same way they’re put in, squeeze the bead with the hair pliers until the link opens/ loosen and it will slid right out

A few questions, Do they slide out after washing or applying conditioners and such during the time they r in?
When installing, should the hair be moisturized after a prewash? Or do oils make it slide down after clamping shut?

yes the links can slide when washing and styling so you have to be gentle
I did my install on freshly washed hair with a little bit of leave in, Id recommend little to no product because that can cause the beads to slide when installing.
I kept my links in for close to 2 months they did slide a little, but for the most part everything thing was still pretty secure when I took them out. I really could’ve kept it in longer

I do have a few questions regarding the hair. 1. Does this product only come in one hair type of more?? 2. Can the extensions be treated like regular hair (washing, styling, straightening ect) 3. And how long should the extensions stay in without breakage of any sort?? Thank you for the tutorial tho ❤️❤️
yes I believe they do have the extension in a few different curl patterns, the hair is 100% human hair so you can wash, straighten, even probably perm it if you wanted treat it just like your natural hair but of course just be a little more gentle, and I wouldn’t leave microlinks in any longer than 2 months thank you sm for tuning in I hope this helps!♥️

Thank you! when installed correctly it doesn’t, it’s not suppose to hurt or feel uncomfortable, and if it does either the bead is too close to your scalp or it’s too much hair forced into the bead

So I purchased the hair and my curl pattern is different from yours in the video. I got the kinky curly but the texture they sent me is almost like afro curly, it's still cute but kind of too big for me.

I didn’t experience any breakage, and my hair has grown a lot its currently past my collarbone, I will absolutely do a pro/ cons and just a full hair update

Having problems with blending the natural with the hair.How do you make it blend in the front like that? I added moisturizer, eco gel and i used the denmon brush and its still puffy...help please!
It could be a lot of reasons why your hair is still puffy after using product, but try a gel with a stronger hold I use gummy hair gel, it works wonders. If that doesn’t work your hair could just be dry and may need a few deep conditioning treatments

But for the curly girlies that like to have a wash and go look will the conditioner make then slip out??
I kept mine in for a little more than a month and all I did were wash and gos and my beads didn’t slip. It definitely can slip though wet or dry if your not gentle especially with detangling

Technically all my hair is still out and had to be maintained along with the I tips. The leave out was just the only are that I didn’t put the microlinks/ ITips

At the start of the video when you applied the links to the back of your head, your hand was covering what you were doing and it wasn't easily seen. However, the finished outcome is 🔅 very nice.

I was going to go to a professional to have her straighten out my hair and then add the links. I take meds for my thyroid and she did not think these would safe for my hair. However, watching this video makes me think 🤔it would be ok if I add them while my hair is in its natural state and if I section off my hair in thicker sections.
yeah i’m not seeing how she thought your meds would affect you getting your hair straightened with microlinks, unless your hair is extremely thinn/ falling out. If that’s not the case for you, you should try another shop. Im a licensed cosmetologist and I am also on meds for my thyroid. I’ve done microlinks on my hair straight and curly multiple times, i’m fine and my hair is fine. but Its really all about installing / placing the links correctly, and using the correct method specifically for your hair. I am aware that in the beginning the medication can thin or make your hair fall out usually until you get adjusted to them. I hope that’s not the case for you, but Good luck I really hope it all works out for you 💕
