However it's been known for years that georgian constitutional court is not independent and they're simply just doing what they're told. Which was proven by thousands of facts and there's a whole chain and connection about why they're not independent . The government controls every legal and institutional way and the only thing that we have left is Protest in the streets.

Hundreds have been randomly detained and beaten, hunted in the streets after protests and even at their homes. Many of the opposition figures have been arrested on token charges. The parliamentary rule has been employing a massive police force and water cannons to quell the protests, and even thug gangs, dubbed titushky, have been attacking, beating and even abducting participants with full impunity or even cooperation from the police. The "new president" was not chosen in a democratic election. It was unilaterally elected by the Georgian Dream PMs in a closed doors ceremony in which he was the only candidate, while the opposition PMs refused to participate. This is a recent change the majority GD politicians implemented and the first "election" of its kind in modern Georgia. Other recent changes includes prohibiting the sale and possession of material associated with the protests, like fireworks and gas masks. Even through that, the public's participation in the protests has only grown, many economic sectors have joined the cause in protest, from the usual suspects like academia and arts, to surprises like hotels, restaurants and even _insurance_ . The general sentiment against the current rule seems to span all sectors of the population.
