My two cousins and myself were all born a month apart, for my mom and my aunt it was their first time being moms. No idea what they were doing despite going to all the classes, having all the books, calling their doctors all the time w questions. Theres do's and donts of course, but no first time parent knows everything. These three are doing amazing, leave them be.
I saw you picked up always pads, but after i had my daughter my stitches werent healing properly and i learnt it's because i was using the always. They have a plastic material in them that catches the stitches. I was suggested using cotton ones ( kotex was my favourite to use) and rhey healed alot faster. If you had any stitches :)
Calise H not true !:) i had a vaginally birth just about 3 months ago i tore and needed an episiotomy( where they need to make a cut to create a larger opening dor baby) and had an extensive amount of vaginal stitching in order to repair the damage !:)
Calise H the only reason i knew you could tear before becoming pregnant was my mom telling me about how I destroyed her when i was born 😅 my doctors didnt even mention the possibility my whole pregnancy. but now you can be prepared if you decide to have kids one day !

Steffy Rodriguez my mom had three pregnancies and she said when she had my oldest sister that she had the mentality of 'eating for 2' and she gave into all of her cravings and it took like a year to get rid of the baby weight but with her second, she ate super healthy and maintained healthy excercise and she breastfed. She lost her baby weight in under 2 months without a whole lot of excerise.

The first part is true but constantly being up close to them constantly can frighten them slash doesn't help too much cause they're constantly trying to focus up close over just letting their eyes develoop.

Please make sure youre pace feeding!! So so important. She's only one week and should not be putting down a full bottle. That could have been why she threw up in the first place. Overstretched tummies are not fun and very painful. Just one mom who learned all this stuff the hard way. Know better do better❤️
Becca Price you'd be surprised by how many doctors have no idea what pace feeding is or how much a newborn should eat. That's why newer doctors put little walnut sized balls on their name tag. So they can show parents how small it is. Even the premade formula in hospitals. Babies should only be drinking a fourth or less of it. But they sit there feeding them the whole thing. It's honestly sad. I hope more doctors take the time to educate themselves on it (which is why I only ever used lactation consultants for feeding stuff)
Yes!!! She should be drinking that much until a month or even older. She should honestly only be drinking less than 50 ml at the most. It might be the formula upsetting her tummy but it can also be over feeding that can cause upset tummy, toots, or throwing up

she's so beautiful!!! Just a lil advice, instead of patting their back while burping , try rubbing in a circular motion to get the air bubbles out!! just took a child development class and that is the newer way to do it. just advice not trying to tell you how to parent!! :) love!!!
I'll second this! My little daughter is 2 months old. For me, I always rub in circles to burp my daughter because it jostles her less and so she spits up less. My baby girl has issues with reflux too. Also, rubbing instead of patting is best for night feeds because she doesn't wake up if she falls asleep while eating. :) Good advice!

newborns can only see 1-2 feet in front of them so get close so they can use face recognition more and more !😊😊💖

It's actually only about 8-10 inches. Also, they can only see in black and white (some shades of grey) until they're a few months old.

Jarius is such a good dad and boyfriend to Acacia. Acknowledging how great Acacia looks and how good of a mom she is. She is so good with Brinley and i just cant help but smile and cry because theyre so cute and precious to each other.
she's so beautiful!!! Just a lil advice, instead of patting their back while burping , try rubbing in a circular motion to get the air bubbles out!! just took a child development class and that is the newer way to do it. just advice not trying to tell you how to parent!! :) love!!!
I'll second this! My little daughter is 2 months old. For me, I always rub in circles to burp my daughter because it jostles her less and so she spits up less. My baby girl has issues with reflux too. Also, rubbing instead of patting is best for night feeds because she doesn't wake up if she falls asleep while eating. :) Good advice!
The thing with the geese had me almost in tears from how funny + sweet it was. Jairus isn't about to let any geese threaten his ladies!
