Is that orchestral version original (written by Wagner) or arranged by another composer?

It was arranged by Motll, and there is another version for chamber orchestra arranged by H.W. Henze. The original Wagner's work was written for piano and sopran.

Beautiful thank you. Better sung and interpreted by a male voice. More tonal colour. We australians do not acknowledge our great artists. Mr Skelton is at the forefront of them

Maybe one could make a nice studio recording singing like this but it does not work in the hall. 50% of it can not be heard.
