They killed the best characters like they were nothing
Agreed. Watch the end of Game of Thrones I kept hoping like there’s going to be something happen there’s gonna be some sort of climax in the last episode but it was so melodramatic. And this is Game of Thrones we’re talking about. And yeah the chronologically does not make sense. She was betrayed in the past and she for gave. She lost one of her dragons in the past and I didn’t make her go crazy. She’s lost people she loves before and it didn’t make her go crazy so none of this makes any sense. And also Jamie‘s Ark was just stupid it made no sense that he ran back to Cersei. After seeing how crazy she went and his development. He should’ve just been with Brianne.
Find the Danny going mad. But I agree it was way too rushed. And the excuses “reasons” Word for going that didn’t make any sense. It was just an abrupt character change that had no lead up. Yeah they did for shadow right in the seventh one and briefly in season six. So there’s part of it there. When she wanted to answer justice with justice but she was told that sometimes it’s better to answer justice with Mercy. But that’s about it. And foreshadowing is not character development. They could’ve worked a little bit they’re in a thoughtful way. But yeah I was way too rushed she still had her head on fairly straight and just would let her anger get the better of her. In season 6. Doesn’t warrant going mad in a matter of two seasons. Especially when the two seasons might as well been half of the regular season so technically she went mad in a matter one season. They needed to play this art more carefully. And yes they ran out of source material but that was not an excuse. They actually did a pretty good job of writing adding stuff in season six I put like season six and season five and season four when they started to veer away from that the running was still pretty good. They could’ve just gone with that buildup. Not having source material is not an excuse.
What made me the most mad was John Stark. He was supposed to kill the night king. The whole show is building up to his true identity and get the iron throne. But they put them back on the fucking wall which makes no sense. And they randomly had area kill the night king because he thought it was cool that’s what they literally said. And yeah as much as I didn’t want area to die in a second last episode. They gave her such a plot armour I figured out what that meant. And she somehow became a dune run or whatever and she managed to outlive everyone that got killed by sheer freak. Asked people dying made sex. They didn’t somehow live with plot armor. That’s the reason why I got into the show I couldn’t see what’s coming. Main characters would die. I didn’t like that but I like the way it was done. And it’s one of those things where it’s like no fuck OK I have to see was gonna happen next I could see was gonna happen oh my fucking god really I have to see what’s going to happen. It’s like rubbernecking at a car accident but entertaining one and you just can’t look away. Jon falling in “love” Sarris was a bullshit story line. They could’ve made that work but then that was way too rushed and it made him lose all his character development. And he’s only lines were but I love you and you’re my queen. It’s like he lost his mind. Which that can happen with people but that happened so fast and it just may be majorly upset me and made him like a robot those infatuated by Danny. He didn’t love her and it’s fucking infatuated by her. And like with all Dany’s past romances she had the upper hand emotionally
Jon would not have made any excuses for her actions and would have a greed and dad some thing about her much sooner. But he was blinded by “love”. One else had done what she did in the last season that he was making excuses for her he would not have put that up with that and he would’ve killed them. He wouldn’t of liked it but he would’ve known it would have needed to be done.
Character has truly lost all his dimension and thinking for himself when he makes excuses for her blowing up a fucking city and killing children.

I must have read that fanfiction idea at least a hundred times on TH-cam. It is not very original, but it is very disturbing that there are so many Flying Monkeys still supporting such a monster. I would have hoped that you would have come to your senses by now. Perhaps you all need to rewatch the series from the beginning and pay attention this time. Out of curiosity, I wonder why you all imagine that you would not also be in the line of fire of your narcissistic little "queen".

I really love Dany and I am super sad because of her ending. I don’t like Mad!Queen Dany, but I accept the path they wanted to go. But they really shouldn’t have rushed this season. They should have developed her character more to make her turn believable.Btw, how you edited the ending looks more like a resurrection scene than her death, I really like it :)

Everyone is saying that and yeah it was rushed but think about it. The main reason someone would rush a tv show is lack of funds. And people now prefer streaming the show for free.... that is a huge loss for the company. It's preferable to finish it with a few episode than allow Game of Thrones to become a liability to the company's finance
Daenerys didn’t get much mad queen development. It took many books for Aegon Targaryen to become sick and insane. The bell scene was stupid. She was after Cerci. Revenge for Missandai her last word was ‘Dracarys’. Burning everything on the way to Red Keep was just writers making her the main villain. That was pure lazy writing. Daenerys forgot who she is less than a day. Great job D&D.
Ep 6 she was like doesn’t care about civilians, people. Didn’t even care about children when Jon mention. Earlier season she chained her dragons because someone else’s child died. Ruined some of my other favorites too. Wtf they did to Arya, Bran, Night King, Varys. Writers didn’t know what to do with them. Arya just running and running. She did terrible things to people. They were her enemies. Burthe Tarlys was a step for mad queen. But no she went back to old Daenerys. Making peace with Cerci to beat the dead. Doing the right thing. Could’ve start making a mad queen from season 7. Ruined many other characters too. Arya was my favorite. And they made her run the whole season.Straight assassin into an Olympic runner.
One thing the show did right was her becoming more power hungry and corrupted like Stannis.

@@shefain2357 Did they even show Dany becoming more power hungry and corrupted? She put her war for power on pause to fight for the greater good. Also they didn't portray her as burning things on the way to the Red Keep but ignoring Cersei and going after peasants-only deciding to hit the Red Keep as an afterthought. I'm pretty sure that is not Daenerys which means the writers screwed up.

Until this day I can't believe what they to her character. I'm not mad about how she went mad. It's just..how awfully they this did. D&D destroyed my most favourite series and I'll never forgive them.

I honestly think it would've been acceptable if she was featured an entire season as an evil queen where everybody plots against her while she keeps on getting more vicious than Cersei. Even though it's only for a short time, her evil ambience can be felt on screen. She was scary and they wasted that potential away.

I can’t be the only one who is glad she burned kings landing, after all that was taken from her, I would like to think that dragon took her somewhere where they could bring her back, and she is plotting her revenge right now 🔥

@@christophertracy383 How could telling Sansafinger a secret go wrong? Actually season 8 has details that lay the blame on Bran (or not really Bran anymore). Of course a realistic alternative is that the writers screwed up and the story they gave is nonsensical. Season 8 does get contradicted by things from seasons 1-7.

I love Dany and I don't even think she went mad. She was angry and grieving. Not to mention that burning down cities is not as big of an atrocity in Game of Thrones as people seem to believe. In the GoT seeting she wasn't mad. Heck look at medieval europe. There were a lot of burning cities. Such is the nature of war. That is not madness (not the kind of madness they were suggesting for Dany). They judged her actions with modern morals and that sucks (not to mention fanservice and being cowars. Gorge R.R. Martin woudln't have been afraid to put her on the throne (not saying he will just saying that he isn't afraid to do harsh things in his novels). And I will defend Dany and her honor till the end of time.

I love this video. Normally fan edits are kind of all over the place; the video is either random clips of the character with music in the background, or a story with a musical backdrop. But you managed to weave the music into the story, to make it into a summation of the character without going over her backstory, and I love it.

When her dragons were dieing one by one my heart hurt, she should have made her last dragon eat circe. Like god damn me an my mother watched this an never missed a single episode
After watching the burning of King's Landing many times, I realized Dany burned the streets, where the soldiers should be, and not the civilians.
I am pretty sure, that when she rain fire for the first time, there were a lot of civilians running from her, even children

what doesn't make sense is in the release of the illustrations for the season, the artists said she saw the lannister lion on the red keep (idk how from that distance) and it was like a bull seeing red. okay that's fine, but why burn the city if all she wanted was cersei? makes no damn sense. I'm fairly certain this is the path GRRM has planned for her because he doesn't like tropes and expected things and a exiled princess saving the day isn't what he'd do. it's expected and he doesn't like that. so her going mad is his plan all along but D&D butchered it and its slopped together horribly. hopefully GRRM will make her descent better. do I think she's mad either, she lost everything and she's grieving and we see her go through the 5 stages of grief. sad part is, the targaryens feel so deeply that it looks like madness so everyone labels them as mad. she'll forever be the queen i chose tho
sparkygamer101 I saw her madness from the beginning. Her being presented as a hero (along with the fact she's a women harping on about evil men) is why no one saw her madness from the early seasons. If you make Danerys a man, take away Dragons and make her more intelligent you get Stannis and while Stannis had fans it was no where near the blind devotion that Danerys had.
Maybe some of her soldiers told her about Tyrion and Jaimie's plan.

This edit makes me emphasize even more with Dany. She is my queen and I hate what they have done with the last season (I think season 7 was shitty, too but it had some great moments). Of course it is wrong that she burned all of Kingslanding, but oh man imagine being in her place. Losing everything that you have fought for your whole life for one person that doesn't return your love. She could've said "fuck Jon Snow and the White Walkers", that way she probably wouldn't have lost two dragons out of three. Even if it is now a year ago, I am still disappointed in the ending for every character that I have grown to love, but I will continue to love Daenerys.

To me GoT ended at season 7. I figure it makes more sense to say season 8 happened in a Star Trek style mirror dimension where Tyrion and Varys are stupid and Dany didn't bring democracy to Slaver's bay and rename it Bay of Dragons (as well as showing herself to be sane like in season 7). And that Tyrion, Varys, and certainly Davos all don't know bells don't mean surrender in King's Landing (unlike in GoT season 2).

I hate how they made her seem evil she risked herself, her children and her people to save the people she never meet. And of course she was angry she lost 2 children of hers, the man she loves, she lost all her closes friends and her family and just because she lost her temper doesn’t mean she is less then a queen but also that wasn’t the worst thing compared to what other Kings and Queens have done. In my opinion kings landing wasn’t a place of innocent and they did deserve to die.
