“I really enjoy watching the dudes that are hardcore Glock just get mad at all the new guns that are coming out that are better than Glocks and they’re going to get mad when you said that but it’s like congratulations you’re the new fudd, you’re the new 1911 guy, you’re the neo-fudd that’s what you are now. While all this advancement is going on you just refuse to admit it, and you’re like nope I’m sticking with Glock forever. Personally, I don't plan on changing anything on my Glock, I just simply don't get to the range enough to justify it (can't afford it) at the moment. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with it stock. The only thing I added was the TLR-6 laser/light and a few pinky extensions for some of the magazines. I opted for the G26 Gen 3 because I live in Commiefornia, and every other glock has neutered 10 round mags while the 26 still retains its original 10 round double stacked magazines. Ammo just went from 11% tax to 22% tax so it's very expensive to get to the range these days. ✌️

It’s the same as someone buying a car and modifying it. The things people change on Glocks don’t make them less of what it was. We know the guns aren’t the best looking. They’re simple, yet efficient and reliable. So we like to change certain things on them for aesthetics, and some of us do things like mill the slides, add red dots, threaded barrels for quiet time, and enhance the trigger. Just like cars, they’re fine the way they come, but some upgrades always make them more fun. But what makes it a Glock, will remain regardless of upgrades.

The Glock 22 was nothing more than a G17 with the barrel and bolt face milled out to .40s&w size. lol you have the New York trigger that was issued to nyc cops. I feel bad for you, but that’s not Glock’s fault. It’s your city’s fault. They didn’t want to face liability suits for negligent discharges because when the officers were issued revolvers, they would rest their fingers on the trigger (something you definitely don’t wanna do on a Glock which had a way lighter trigger), which led to problems as you can imagine. Trust me, stock Glocks are not at all like the ones you were issued. They are like a 5-6 or maybe 8 lb trigger at most, and they don’t feel like a fricking circuit breaker every time you pull it. Anyways, come to a free state range and try it out. Take care and happy hunting.
