This song was the perfect ending to Kingdom. Our guys got treated badly, but they pushed on, performed amazing stages, and were humble and kind and made all sorts of new friends.

@@st6019 it was genuinely so traumatic. from what I remember, atz were constantly the only group put into rooms without sofas (if you look at their reactions for other performances, they're in these stiff chairs while every other group has sofas), they were apparently also mistreated by staff but I can't remember the details? For the wonderland performance, they hadn't slept in 2/3 days, and the sheer amount of hate atz got from other fandoms during kingdom was also insane. When they won first twice, they got accused for rigging the competition, they also got hate for the props they used in the first performance?? It was really bad, I'm so glad that era is done and over with. Sorry for the tangent haha
Tbh I got the feeling from every group at the end that it didnt matter who will win. All of the actually won even more important stuff than some title of a show.... new friendships and a ton of new fans :D
@@Niki91-HR no for real, thanks to kingdom I got into SF9, the boyz, and Ikon. Three groups who I probably wouldn’t have discovered if it wasn’t for this show. Despite it being a competition show, all the groups involved developed such cool friendships and gained a ton of new fans
@@yoonjins_sweetiepie I, maybe, would have found them rather later then sooner because I am stuck in the kpop rabbit hole and found sooo many bands that eventually I would have found SF9 and the others except Stray Kids and Ateez who I knew already. I kind of regret that I didnt dive in into this side of the world before. Blackpink was actually the first group I really listen to all their songs but never gone further...and then this year out of curiosity I started to look deeper into BTS and from that point I found out about Kingdom etc etc etc. Also I found sooooo many tv shows and movies from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, etc to watch...my list is growing every day 🤣🤣 its crazy. I was always open to new stuff from different places but actually, besides Anime, I dont know why I didnt look into it earlier. Ps. yep...they definitely gained a lot of new fans because of Kingdom...and what I have learnt about SF9 so far I think it is now their time to shine, but for real.
@@Niki91-HR no seriously though. As a brand new fantasy, Ikonic, and Deobi, I loved seeing SF9 Ikon and The boyz interacting with Ateez and Stray Kids. Oh and btob too. I honestly just loved seeing all of the interactions between the groups and their reaction to Ateez’s performances. Especially stray kids. You could tell Stray Kids was extremely supportive of Ateez even expressing concern when Ateez got ranked so lowly in the first day evaluations. Gotta love it
*The only bad thing about this stage was that ateez performed first instead of last. This would have been been the perfect send off/closing ceremony performance for everyone*

Honestly I felt this performance was like a celebration of “Thank god this show is over and screw Mnet.” I’m honestly proud of the hard they have done!

The fact that ATEEZ became 1st place in most of the expert and group votes, however their ranking dropped as a result of global evaluations because they were not known this much back then; but right now, their performance videos are the most watched and streamed Kingdom videos breaks my heart a little. I wish they would have won the competition because they were unique in every sense. Other than this, I get really proud of them every time I watch these performances and now they will perform for the Coachella stage. I guess Kingdom was a preview of the many future successes we will be witnessing for our ATEEZ. Go go go go ATEEZ!!

my guess is because wearing a low hat (bucket or cap), it covers your eyes, and since eye contact counts a lot in facial expressions, we're only left to guess one's facial expression with their facial features below the eyes - hence we tend to feel someone who's wearing a low cap "aggressive" even if they're not making any expressions. i remember there was a study on facial expressions and how blocking parts of the face affects a long time ago, but i cant remember everything lmao

Yes, their synchronization is great, especially during dance practices but they don’t like to focus on that during live shows. The priority during live shows is the expression and energy because that’s what engages the audience.

I know many Atinys keep coming back to this even though we are not rushing for views anymore. Like me, i woke up this morning feeling like i havent had enough of this performance and that i need to watch this again and again. The feeling towards this performance is so meaningful. Not only did the boys do a remarkable job for this stage, all the people who helped create this stage, the stylists, camera people, both kid (I think they are the same kids from Ateez's most recent immortal song) and adult back up dancers, the whole crew all did amazing!!!!!

This whole show was not a competition for ateez theyre literally like “watch me do my lil dance aye” Collecting hearts left and right like THEY WON NO MATTER WHAT
As an atiny, I'm not surprised they didn't win just because the circumstances weren't in their favor. They are missing their main rapper therefore leaving only one official rapper in the group, they are the youngest group here, and most likely have less fans than most of the groups on KD. But winning isn't everything, and I think we did win in a lot of ways. This last performance ateez just stopped caring and had fun! It's amazing to see idols genuinely smile on stage while having that much fun. Also as the song lyrics entail, they showed their real selves and real values & beliefs during this performance and I really respect that. Goes to show how ateez are genuinely great people and I'm glad they showed who they are so well on KD. They also gained quite a few fans during KD and gained new friends! Hongjoong cant say Seonghwa is his only idol friend now, because he has Jinhwan from Ikon and Bangchan from SKZ! 😂 And also seeing two of my ult groups interact and become friends (atz & skz) was absolutely amazing. In conclusion, I think every group here is a winner. Good luck to all the kd groups in their future activities, and also huge congratulations to my boys stray kids!! If you read the lyrics, it really isn't a diss track. Sure, it sounds like it but if you look into the lyrics more, it's basically saying to respect others. Also, no matter how much you've achieved, always keep your foot on the ground and never ever forget where you came/started from and always show "the real" you. @@Niki91-HR no for real, thanks to kingdom I got into SF9, the boyz, and Ikon. Three groups who I probably wouldn’t have discovered if it wasn’t for this show. Despite it being a competition show, all the groups involved developed such cool friendships and gained a ton of new fans
@@yoonjins_sweetiepie I, maybe, would have found them rather later then sooner because I am stuck in the kpop rabbit hole and found sooo many bands that eventually I would have found SF9 and the others except Stray Kids and Ateez who I knew already.
I kind of regret that I didnt dive in into this side of the world before. Blackpink was actually the first group I really listen to all their songs but never gone further...and then this year out of curiosity I started to look deeper into BTS and from that point I found out about Kingdom etc etc etc.
Also I found sooooo many tv shows and movies from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, etc to watch...my list is growing every day 🤣🤣 its crazy.
I was always open to new stuff from different places but actually, besides Anime, I dont know why I didnt look into it earlier.
Ps. yep...they definitely gained a lot of new fans because of Kingdom...and what I have learnt about SF9 so far I think it is now their time to shine, but for real.
@@Niki91-HR no seriously though. As a brand new fantasy, Ikonic, and Deobi, I loved seeing SF9 Ikon and The boyz interacting with Ateez and Stray Kids. Oh and btob too. I honestly just loved seeing all of the interactions between the groups and their reaction to Ateez’s performances. Especially stray kids. You could tell Stray Kids was extremely supportive of Ateez even expressing concern when Ateez got ranked so lowly in the first day evaluations. Gotta love it
*The only bad thing about this stage was that ateez performed first instead of last. This would have been been the perfect send off/closing ceremony performance for everyone*

The fact that ATEEZ became 1st place in most of the expert and group votes, however their ranking dropped as a result of global evaluations because they were not known this much back then; but right now, their performance videos are the most watched and streamed Kingdom videos breaks my heart a little. I wish they would have won the competition because they were unique in every sense. Other than this, I get really proud of them every time I watch these performances and now they will perform for the Coachella stage. I guess Kingdom was a preview of the many future successes we will be witnessing for our ATEEZ. Go go go go ATEEZ!!

my guess is because wearing a low hat (bucket or cap), it covers your eyes, and since eye contact counts a lot in facial expressions, we're only left to guess one's facial expression with their facial features below the eyes - hence we tend to feel someone who's wearing a low cap "aggressive" even if they're not making any expressions. i remember there was a study on facial expressions and how blocking parts of the face affects a long time ago, but i cant remember everything lmao

Not only did the boys do a remarkable job for this stage, all the people who helped create this stage, the stylists, camera people, both kid (I think they are the same kids from Ateez's most recent immortal song) and adult back up dancers, the whole crew all did amazing!!!!!

As an atiny, I'm not surprised they didn't win just because the circumstances weren't in their favor. They are missing their main rapper therefore leaving only one official rapper in the group, they are the youngest group here, and most likely have less fans than most of the groups on KD. But winning isn't everything, and I think we did win in a lot of ways. This last performance ateez just stopped caring and had fun! It's amazing to see idols genuinely smile on stage while having that much fun. Also as the song lyrics entail, they showed their real selves and real values & beliefs during this performance and I really respect that. Goes to show how ateez are genuinely great people and I'm glad they showed who they are so well on KD. They also gained quite a few fans during KD and gained new friends! Hongjoong cant say Seonghwa is his only idol friend now, because he has Jinhwan from Ikon and Bangchan from SKZ! 😂 And also seeing two of my ult groups interact and become friends (atz & skz) was absolutely amazing.
In conclusion, I think every group here is a winner. Good luck to all the kd groups in their future activities, and also huge congratulations to my boys stray kids!! Can't wait to watch the reality show they won 😄

This performance showed alot of events in real life! This made me realize that this song and their performance shows "The Real" stuffs going on in and out of KD. If you read the lyrics, it really isn't a diss track. Sure, it sounds like it but if you look into the lyrics more, it's basically saying to respect others. Also, no matter how much you've achieved, always keep your foot on the ground and never ever forget where you came/started from and always show "the real" you.

i will never shut up about the details in this performance because all of them were SO MEANINGFUL. they gave a very important message to everyone: being cool is not about wearing fancy clothes, accessories, or anything. their definition of cool is someone who knows how to be respectful, humble, and kind. they showed that through this performance and you can see how hongjoong defended the student from the bullies, wooyoung & yunho bowed to the teacher who was passing by, san was mopping the floor despite wearing an elegant suit and singing the line about humble & kindness, and lastly, all of them bowed at the end :(( i swear they are the COOLEST people ever. they always tell a story in every stage and i'm just so proud that i stan this group who always remain humble no matter what they achieve. they always go back to their roots and they never forget to express their gratitude to all the people who supported them. even though they are already tired yesterday, 3 members still went to vlive just to thank atinys even for a few minutes.. so please, to atinys and non-atinys who are watching this stage, i hope you appreciate every single detail and effort they put into their performance ♡ please look forward to their future comebacks!! :))
