A tofu tip: try to marinate it before you cook. I usually squeeze out all the water and then cut it in cubes and place it in a container with a soy sauce + sweet chilli sauce mix (add salt and pepper as per your preference) and let it marinate for some time and then I pan toss/stir fry it in some oil and add a little more soy or sriracha depending on my mood. Tofu can really absorb flavours and tastes best that way, IMO.
