Fabulous. I had no idea the entire time I was using a "wicking hydroponic system" by using a juice bottle, coconut coir & baby wipe as the wicking material.
Everything will rot if it sits in water/doesn’t have a chance to dry and ESPECIALLY if you plant it in semi hydro with remaining soil. Wash the roots first.
Love this, I have a project at school and Had no idea what to do since me and my buddy had no time to do the step by step process, thanks!
That was useful to know . Hope you make more videos and hi😊
Useful, especially since we've begun our hydroponics course in Plant Science
Thanks for sharing this video

Hi jamiyah Reid
Thanks🙏🌹🌹🙏

this is so helpful to know why my clear bottle was growing algae. I switched to an amber bottle, so hopefully that will cut it down.
Did the amber bottle help with algae?
How often I have to change water?

What is the purpose of the pebbles - just to hold the plant in place?

Green Our Planet ... Does the material filter the nutrients? Does wick material make a difference to filtering?
THANK U YE KIND SIRE
Are wicks really necessary? I thought if LECA touches water it will suck it in and feed the roots and those will grow lower with time/if they need to
Thanks a lot it worked really well
I am so confused. Just about everything I plant dies of rot. I keep putting more drainage to the mix for over a year.
