Behind what was the Barrow Steel Works the by-product of the steel (The Slag) was built up into a ginormous mound known locally as the SLAG BANK. Before it was landscaped kids used to hang out at this iconic landmark in Barrow-in-Furness. This is a song about six such teenagers!
