Hart Reeder this isn’t the worst year of my life, when I lost my dad in 2001 unexpectedly I also had to go through a contentious lawsuit with his fiancé to try and get his stuff back from her that really tested me. Not only that she claimed that she didn’t have half of the stuff that I knew that he had because I worked with my father like Snap on tools that were worth thousands of dollars. However, the good news is I found Christ again and I hope to see him one day.

The youngsters probably never saw Cliff Robinson play. Awesome player. Could play 3 positions, was 6'10 and a great outside shooter. Really underrated, played in an era of monsters and he was kind of forgotten cause of that. Skilled player who would kill it in today's NBA. Rip Cliff.

8.28.20 I had my colonoscopy. 3 years prior, I had polyps, but I still seriously considered postponing the procedure, due to COVID-19 and taking care of my Mom, who has Alzheimer’s. After hearing the Devastating news about Chadwick.. I’m so glad I did it! Chadwick, was 39 YEARS OLD WITH STAGE 3-COLON CANCER!!! Please, Everyone get yourselves checked. Whether it’s a colonoscopy, mammogram, prostate exam, endoscopy, etc. These procedures aren’t the most pleasant, but Early Detection is the Best Protection. I’m still in Shock! Overcome with Sadness! Chadwick, is truly one of GOD’s SOLDIERS!! Take Care, Everyone. And GOD BLESS!!

Charles Bates I totally agree. According to the American Cancer Society, HPV-Human Papillomavirus, seems to be a major risk factor, as well. Also, if you have a parent with a history of polyps, as in my case. Be well.

Very shocked and bumped out to hear this news. Though "Black Panther" launched Chadwick Boseman into wider public consciousness, I really enjoyed his performances as James Brown and Thursgood Marshall, two VERY diverse character portrayals that really showcased his range & acting ability. Too many of today's black actors rely on repeating boring brash-mouth bravado in their onscreen roles or just some shallow humor to quickly rake in box office cash instead of anything of substance. (Yeah, I'm referring to you Will Smith, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Tyler Perry!) But Chadwick Boseman was different, following in the footsteps of the truly greats, like those of Denzel Washington, Danny Glover, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson, etc. Wow, indeed, it's a big loss!

Cliff Robinson was the player who started Uconn as we know them today. I grew up in Connecticut in the 80's and early 90's. The Big East was a monster conference. I was a big Syracuse fan, and dad got us tickets to see the Orange and the Huskies in hartford. Cliff was a one man wrecking show. Syracuse had a bunch of big name players. Uconn had 1 and half. (Tate George). Been a Cliff Robinson fan ever since.

I agree with Kenny. As bad as 2020 is(and it's awful), it showed us a lot of things. Our society can crumble faster than we thought(COVID, BLM and protests/riots, police brutality), lives are not as protected and safe as we once thought, especially of those we admire(Kobe, Chadwick, Grant Imahara), and how much we should cherish every moment and every person. We may hate 2020, but it will make us love the next years even more.

But 2020 has been equally as sad - Kobe Bryant, Gigi, Pop Smoke, Jerry Sttiler, Jerry Sloan, John Lewis, Chadwick Boseman, Lute Olson and Cliff Robinson.
