So sadly there have been people who have ridden horses with a bosal with contact in the reins for hours and hours and no matter how many times they were reminded to put slack in their reins they were the anxious type who used the reins to help with their own feelings. By the end of a 3 hours trail ride in CA the bosal had rubbed the horse's nose raw and they even put vet wrap on during the ride to attempt to cushion the nose, but the horse had a bloody nose by the end of the ride. I swear I would have just taken the reins away and ponied them at a certain point because no one is making my horse raw and bloody. That's how bad this can be when used by someone who keeps a tight grip on the reins.

You need to work on your 'loud' hands. You are way outside of the ten inch box. Do all of your actions within the ten inch box for quiet hands.
