South Africa beat Pakistan by seven wickets in the second T20 international of the three-match series.
The tourists won the toss and elected to bat first in the match at SuperSport Park, Centurion, South Africa, with Saim Ayub hitting an unbeaten 98 in his side’s 206-5.
Reeza Hendricks hit an unbeaten maiden century in reply to seal the series with one game to spare.
The Proteas won the first match of the series by 11 runs in Durban on Tuesday.
Pakistan entered the game on the back of the news that Test coach Jason Gillespie has resigned before the four-match series that was to begin later this month.
The final match of the T20 series will be played in Johannesburg on Saturday, before a three-game one-day international series that is part of the build-up to February’s Champions Trophy to be staged in Pakistan.
