Saigon is a city in Vietnam, which is also where I grew up in. This song, the melody, the instruments, everything fits this city perfectly! It gives me nostalgic feelings about Saigon in the 80s. Thank you so much Luke for such a masterpiece.

i'm a vietnamese, and for anyone who doesn't know, during the war, saigon was a name of a city in the south of vietnam, which is then changed into ho chi minh city :) when i first saw the name of the song my jaw DROPPED. this has been one of my fav songs so far and i keep replaying it. i really love this album! love this Luke!

Saigon is in the worst lockdown ever due to Covid. I haven't wandered around the city, which I like to do most, for almost 3 months. Lives have been lost and we are hoping for better things to come. This song reminds me of the beautiful moments of Saigon. I have never appreciated the things I had with Saigon more than I do right now. Your song really touches my heart and every other people of Saigon.
