I Knew It Was Loren Allred! I Played Never Enough in Public | Cole Lam 15 Years Old

- Well I knew it was @lorenallred on BGT Britain's Got Talent! The amazing Never Enough from The Greatest Showman in the movie was actually sung by the amazing Loren Allred. In the movie, the actress Rebecca Ferguson is brilliant in acting the singing of this on stage - you really can't tell it's not her voice in the song.
Loren appeared on @BGT and performed it in the audition part. Simon Cowell claimed it was his favourite song but somehow did not recognise Loren Allred! I think that might just be "creative license" as I can't believe Simon would not know who Loren is, and certainly would know who sang one of his favourite songs!
Anyway - I created this arrangement quite a while ago, but never actually got to play it out in public till last month in March before the Arsenal game. I could not have imagined that Loren would come to the UK and perform it on BGT! She was really amazing!

I was there when she sang the song on that stage in NY i was one of several background actors in that movie in that scene, u will find me in the audience, she said to us that it was her first time singing infront of a criwd of people, the clapping we did was true not directed, it made her feel so good about singing that song

I had not seen her on BGT but now I get the picture that you aptly described above and discussed in one of your recent live streams. I also had not noticed that the lyrics appear as you are playing. Maybe lovingly inserted by your amazing Dad.

Oh my goodness. On this Memorial Day 2022 I was already emotional thinking about my late husband who was retired disabled Navy vet. Before we said out vows he asked me too take his hand and share this life with me. You gave me Goode bumps and I cried. I hope your star always shines. A huge fan in Williamsburg Virginia USA.

I've never heard this before or seen the movie. Never Enough is only a feeling, not reality. We are always enough. We always receive enough (love, strength, encouragement, determination, resources) to deal with the challenges and struggles of life. So, for anyone facing struggles - it will get better, you can do it. 😀💖💖

Thanks! I kind of get into the music whenever I perform which is why I sometimes look like I don't realise there are people around when I finish. Well I know they are around but also not really pay attention at the same time! Haha that probably makes no sense!

In the past, I have also played the piano in church before but I usually played the piano with a band, and only occasionally, I played solo. However, I have never played in public areas before. I have yet to gain courage to do so.

Amazing performance from this young guy! I want people to stop and crowd around him, but of course they're travelling and have deadlines to meet in this place and they can't stop to listen. Try to choose a place where everyone isn't so time constrained, like a shopping mall for example. I'm sure there, he will be much more appreciated for his incredible talent.

What on earth is wrong with these people that just walk past this genius? A lot of airport, train stations etc have had people play the piano with various songs, but this is just BEAUTIFUL. I'm so happy to see someone playing a song that others haven't. It was fresh and exciting. I only wish I could play the piano. Cole Lam, great work. I agree with what was said about people moving about their business. The fact that they may have to keep on moving says nothing negative about his talent. It also doesn't mean they didn't enjoy what they got to hear.
