For this job you need a healthy portion self-esteem. It is a judgement of oneself as well as self worth, self respect and integrity involved. I think Jensen Ackles owned up to taking on directing, and, while a good portion of self esteem is good, he also showed a good portion of humbled by the task. Thumbs up!
Would've loved to have seen some footage of Jensen directing Jared - hopefully Jared didn't screw with him too much!! Can't wait to see what Misha does when it's his turn… I can only imagine how J2 will mess with him :P So proud of you Jensen!!

:) Thanks for the upload! Jensen is truly a genuine, talented, hard working person! Beautiful not only on the outside but the inisde too! Not once have I heard "me me me" like some celebrities or tv stars, he always thinks of others before him! Jensen, you are a joy to watch, on screen or off!
Amazing video. :] I definitely see him in a whole new light. I definitely see acting and directing as two totally separate and difficult things now as well. I love his enthusiasm, his dedication, his curiosity and eagerness to learn. In my eyes, as a fan girl, I thought this cast could not get more wonderful. That Jensen could not get more beautiful, but he did just that. In my future,I hope to have that (whatever it is that I see as amazing in this man), even if just a sprinkle in my plate.

When I saw them filming the woodchipper scene i realized something. When playing a monster you probably feel completely stupid at times going "rawrawr"
I really enjoyed watching this video! It was interesting and insightful, and makes you look at the show (Supernatural) differently. I'd love to have a peek in the prop and costume department. I love seeing how they splattered the blood from the "chipper" and how they had a street lamp rotating so it looked like it was passing the car! amazing. The whole crew do an amazing job, an i'm not a director but it seemed like Jensen did a really good job, and i watched the episode and it was bril. :D

wow it's weird that i'm actually proud of him. it's like watching my big brother taking a big step in his life and accomplishing something good, something i can brag about. i know it's creepy, i know it's not cool, but right now, i just feel like that. well, if i were him i would be irritated by the fact that some total stranger saying these, but i wish someday i could meet him , give him a nudge and say 'hell yeah man, i've always knew that you were more than a pretty face. :))'
I watched this again cause I had't seen it in a while and remembered how Much a director has to do! He seems to have done quite a good job and gotten a lot of respect from everyone. Wonder how Misha is going to do next season-I'm afraid he will get a lot of razzing from Jared!
