Oh this is the song that Khusugtun played on Asia's Got Talent. I much prefer this version. The deep voice and the golden eagle sounds just knocks it out of the park. And this guy is the lead singer of The HU, even better!
I had the pleasure of meeting throat singer Batrozig Vaanchig in Saudi Arabia earlier this year. To experience live throat singing is something that cannot be described in words. You have to hear it and see it.

If anyone else couldn't get this out of their head and has to learn it: the high melody part is a slide down from G# -> E -> C# -> B then trills C# and B down to G# then slides back up to a quick B->C#->B->C# ->G#. The chorus is C# -> E -> slide to F# and back to E -> C#. The main verse centers around that C# and goes up as far as the E and down as far as the G#. It sounds like the first verse he might start on the G# and moves up as far as B and down as far as C# in similar patterns to the later verses centered around the C#. Love this tune and cant wait to see the Hu live one day. Enjoy!
I love how he does the Mongolian Golden Eagle call in that beautiful overtone at 1:57, 2:45 and 3:33. Blows me away completely everytime I hear it. I also love the other video of people dancing to Wolf Totem in the capital city square in front of the statue of the Great Chinggis Khaan \m/
This is because kharkhiraa was used by ancient Mongolian warriors to frighten their enemies before the battle, so it became ingrained in Mongolian folk music.
